In two weeks.
I hate Moore but he's the only who said something about that. Zero data from McDonald, Young, Pau Garcia... about Spurs' media day. Yeah "Spurs" media guys.
nice..Ill check spurs.com and update guys.
Older tweet, but it still seems to be pointing to camp starting around the 25th.
Still seems like a short camp, considering first preseason game is Oct 2nd.

KD is such a ing clown, you know he's gonna see this and have some butthurt response
Andrew Bogut will reveal his next NBA team in the coming week, with up to four franchises that have Australian connections in the mix to secure his services.
The Daily Telegraph understands Boston, San Antonio, Milwaukee and Utah have all expressed interest in Bogut.
All four franchises have Australian links through Aron Baynes (Celtics), Patty Mills (Spurs), Thon Maker and Matthew Dellavedova (Bucks) and Joe Ingles and Dante Exum (Jazz).
he thinks he is so important that its worth delaying the news?
He's already responded twice to Cash before![]()

Man I can't believe the season is already here. That was really fast.
Training camp to start 9/26
Rudy said he's ready for it.

It goes even faster when you try to stay off Spurstalk, haven't really looked at this forum much since the offseason. So many moves with teams offseason it felt like it wasn't long since it ended.
Yea it does. I haven't been on here a lot. Been in NFL mode the past month and a half.
in' Rudy Gay man.
Just noticed that the Spurs open up the regular season with 2 games against the Kings. That should be interesting.![]()
Would imagine Bogut is deciding between Celtics and Spurs and ultimately picks former, who he supposedly had as a finalist last season before picking Cavaliers.
Spurs probably can't definitively offer more minutes and obviously have lesser chance of reaching Finals.
Given the sheer number of guards we've signed this offseason, any news of signing a big is good news. I want him.
Yeah, not sure if I like that. It seems short. I hope players are in shape and don't need camp to get in shape. Could be bad for a lot of teams if their players are not in tip top shape entering the season.
I have a hard time believing we can do much better than David Lee with the scrub bigs on the market.
Simmons might be a bad comparison, but he's like that with several guys, where he wants them to be aggressive. You can attack from anywhere, once you get the ball, be quick with the decision you want to make whether you're in the corner or at the top of the key. I mean Pop has wanted guys like Diaw, Bonner (who added to his game as he got older), RJ, CoJo, Neal etc... to just be aggressive and be quick with their decision making. We have seen KA go to the post and have success or give that little mini-hook in the paint, and it seems like something that he could do more often than he does.
I guess my thing was, Pop isn't the one holding him back, nor would he be upset if KA decided to get more aggressive during the game. Obviously it would be unrealistic for KA to do this a lot, but it's fair to expect him to try and do a bit more when he has the ball. Him becoming a respectable shooter would only help him as a player, especially approaching FA, as it would force defenders to come out at him and he could drive and finish/dish, but if he's going to be reluctant (like Bobo was at times) then he should definitely use his size/skills in the post.
I think we all see there is potential for KA honestly. We also know Pop isn't calling a ton of plays for people out there at times , it's more so how the flow of the game is going. KA just has to seize the opportunities he gets and not look timid out there. The way he played at times in the playoffs with Kawhi and co. out is how he should look to play most of the time. As you mentioned he did more than spot up, and that's a good thing for him & the team.
I'm rooting for him tho SAGirl.. I think he offers qualities that can help this team in a variety of situations/scenarios/matchups. If he maximizes his potential with the time he's given, I'd be very shocked if he isn't getting 3-5 more mpg.
LMAO if Spurs can't even sign Andrew Bogut, dude broke his leg less than a minute in an NBA game. If he stays healthy it's a good signing but it's a huge risk now for any NBA team to sign him. Hope to see him a Spur soon!
Good on Boris. Dude did all he to do.
This is a good post. It's up to him to maximize whatever chances he will get, contract season and all. I am still uncertain that he'll be reupped but at this point the roster is pretty much set. Any of the forwards/bigs lost at this point creates a minutes gap that needs to be replaced. The trade opportunity I suggest is gone and might not have been of interest to the Spurs anyways. The FA market is going to be tough next season so it's unknown really.
At this point I don't know who is likely to be more available to play vs injured: Bogut or Tiago.
