This is the exact type of childish grandstanding that the modern left has been rightfully mocked for. Very disappointing to see the same thing from conservatives now that they're in power.
All because Trump called them sons of es. #1stworldproblems

JUST IN: In letter to NFL owners, Roger Goodell says: "We believe that everyone should stand for the National Anthem."
ducks, do you think forcing people to display patriotism is a good thing?
think not standing is being a distraction if you do not stand
That wasn't the question.
ducks, do you think forcing people to display patriotism is a good thing?
you mean like in north korea?
espn is forcing their workers not to post anti patriotic things on social media
owners are forcing players to tackle people to get paid or cut
owners are forcing players to catch the ball or cut
owners are forcing players to throw a completion rate over x or get cut
owners are forcing players to make field goal kicks are cut
usa is forcing people not to drink and drive
usa is forcing players to wear seat belts
usa is forcing you to be 16 to get a driver lic
usa is forcing you to be 21 to drink legally
USA is forcing you to be a citizen to vote legally
DO you think forcing someone to stand for the flag once a week for 16 weeks plus playoff games to earn your living is to much to ask to work there?
why do you watch the nba they do
ducking the question.
Yeah, I think it's a stupid thing to force displays of patriotism. It's the opposite of freedom.
no one is forcing you to take the job at the nfl
I do not like the rules for the company I work for I quite. Like and adult and not some baby
do you think it is stupid for them to force them to wear pads to play in?
standing makes them not get BOOOED!
the more money the nfl gets paid the more the players make
the more they make their can donate to make things better according to them
too bad USA isn’t forcing you to stop peeing on children
Guys fight each other for years to get to the position to even be considered by the NFL.
Get to the NFL
While in uniform, suddenly what the NFL does offends you.
Seems a lot like conscientious objectors who enlist for the military and refuse to fight because it offends them.
I got nothing against someone refusing to stand for the anthem. I don't want to stand for it either tbh. I just have something against people, who are making millions to go through a very public ceremony before their game every week, acting like divas and using that rare air to show their asses.
And Monday's numbers are in....right in the toilet.
"But, but we were right for one night."![]()
Objectively, was last night's game a good matchup to attract ratings?
Everyone is on the internet, now. Except for last Thursday.
You didn't answer the question.

Seriously, tho... 3rd largest tv market in Chicago, a storied NFC rivalry that's been on MNF countless times. Records don't matter for diehards of either. Ratings down 10% overall from Tal X's protesting last year, polls showing baseball and basketball now more popular than NFL.
You're seriously going to go down that road?
You didn't answer the question.

I understand partisanship, but dude's are upset for being called sons of es and took a knee when they couldn't be bothered, at least 95%, prior to being called SoBs, and the ratings are hitting lows that can't be blamed for people "using the internet". They pissed off the fanbase, advertisers are barking and the NFL is doing a full about face.
This isn't about altruistic social justice, this is meatheads feeling slighted by a clown POTUS calling them a name, hiding behind a facade to rebel and now their ratings are declining with the advertising revenues that come with it. As a person who finds the NFL and their fans equally stupid, I'm having fun.
So far as partisanship goes, the Right and Trump are winning. Don't cite matchups, awful matchups haven't been an issue in the psst, let alone a 1 year, 10% dip. But, again, I do understand partisanship and the we're right, you.re wrong" paradigm. This isn't an example where you're right.
