Nothing...
I am really quite ambivalent about a possible bowl.
Do we really need anymore practice with only 2 QBs and guys headed to the NFL that could get injured...
We know what we have. A horrible offensive line, no TE, with QBs and RBs getting absolutely drummed. And plenty of receivers who have given up and or have degraded waiting for 50/50 balls thrown under duress.
Might be time for rest. Concentrate on recruiting and realize we just did not have the depth to sustain so many injuries, or a QB with experience somehow made of Iron.
God help us if we play a team that has a mean defensive line in a bowl game.
This is not a very posi ive response sir.
I didn't disagree with anything you said here, but lol
About 20 teams don't deserve bowls yet here we are
2020 QB Ken Seals (Weatherford)
This kid will be good, but he wasn't allowed to play this year due to a transfer rule.
Texas WR commit Rondale Moore
Next year by God...
Next year we will right the ship.
Follow me up Hamburger Hill, we will not be denied... *massive apologies to any vets*
im not giving in.
This torture must end.

Yes Texas got the wrong Baylor players. Then who to choose Tim or Gus?
Now that the regular season is over I will finally give my critique of this coaching staff and the job they did this year.
Frankly I give them a fail, but for honest I will talk about each coach and each group.
Tom Herman - You are a definite fail, it's your job to get this team ready each week, and frankly this team has bookend losses that are inexcusable and were this to happen a coach in year 4 he would be gone. But you are in year one so you and your staff will likely be retained.
Tim Beck - 3 of the six losses can be attributed to the play of the QB, but he is a true freshmen blah blah blah. All six losses can be attributed to the stinker of an offense you put on the field. As a QB coach it is your job to help the QBs get better each week, I saw no improvement in the decision making of Ehlinger or Buschele. Sam's stupid play cost us the USC, Okie state, and Tech games, I know that is being harsh to Sam, because your horrible play calling is the real issue I will address.
I get the issue with our oline and injuries, but lets be honest, your play calling could have helped some, but it was stupid and ineffective, quit trying to be the smartest guy in the stadium and start trying to set up plays and putting your best players in position to make plays.
Do you know the difference between Greg Popovich and Mike DiAntoni? Mike was more interested in being the greatest offensive mind in basketball, while Pop is more interested in finding ways to win.
Stop trying to be smart and start trying to win.
Your offense is the second worst offense Texas has put on the field since I've been watching Texas football, and that is going back to 1977. If Tom Herman is Charlie Strong 2.0 than it is because you are Shawn Watson 2.0.
Derek Warehime - Total fail, he is the one coach I will say deserves to be fired. I get it that injuries happen, but we still had 10 scholarship players and not once did I see any improvement in this group from the Maryland game to the Tech game. That is 100% on Warehime. But the bigger picture is that Texas has lost two guys before the season began in Delance and Hodges who felt this was the wrong place for them and now we are likely to lose two more in Mcmillon and Cuney. Spares one might say, chalk it up to attrition when coaching changes happen. In a year when we were in need of bodies, I'm not seeing you help yourself by making it comfortable for them to want to stay.
There is no excuse for this line, you and the OC want to run zone blocking schemes then you better at lease be willing to try and teach them how to zone block but I've seen no improvement in this department.
More important is that you haven't been able to land the talent necessary to show you have hope for the future. This team has seven open scholarship slots available and frankly we need most of those for defense, but since you can't coach worth a damn we now need to fill them with Juco offensive linemen just to give our offense a pulse. That is on you my friend.
Drew Mehringer - A good young hungry coach that is a great recruiter, however, he is about as good at coach receivers as he Warehime is at coach offensive line. Not good at all. In fact I'd say as the season wore on our receivers got worse and worse. Do you know anything about teaching guys how to block and run routes? Like I said, you are a good recruiter, but your receivers suck at two things that are fundamental to the position. Frankly there is no excuse for it, you have 10 receivers that are talented and willing to do what it takes to get on the field. Second, if you took the time to get to know your guys strengths and weaknesses you would know how to put the right personnel in the lineup to maximize their talents and put them in the best place to succeed.
I'm not going to comment on the other offensive coaches because all the rest of the offensive coaches get an incomplete and all the defensive coaches are fantastic. I hope that Texas will offer pay raises to Orlando and his staff as they have proven to be as good as advertised.
Tom, if you want to last longer than Charlie Strong, you better quit trying to be Jim Harbaugh 2.0 and start trying to be a football coach. The gimmick crap is good if you are winning, but dude you ain't winning so I expect to see some real improvement from you and your staff if you want to keep your dream job.
I'm out.
