UT is pursuing him but they can't release the name until they get permission from the family.
Hate to say it but I think we're wasting our time here. He's LSU bound and I don't think its as close as they say, maybe trying to create some last minute drama. I think we're better off putting the full court pressure on Tommy Bush.
My feeling is Bush won't happen regardless and the staff could roll with the three WRs they have.
I read recently he hasn't talked to the staff much in the second half of the season.
Bush had a bad senior season if I'm not mistaken.

depending on how early enrollment is handled we only have seven spots available, that means any WR beyond what we have is going to take away from another position of greater need. Same with DB, at this point the need at OL, DL, and LB is really really huge right now.
I'd be happy with 2 more DL, 1 more LB, and 4 more Olinemen. Keep what we have at other positions. Of course Cook is a tremendous get, and normally I'd really want him, but our oline situation is so horrible I'd really want to get that taken care of as being so much more important. If we can get a grad transfer at the oline that would help so much, but until that happens we can take what we need in juco and in numbers from high school.

We are going for it on 4 th down and 6. We were absolutely desperate on offense and just put such minor problems in the hands of the defense. I mean 4th and 6 clearly illustrates your offense actually moved the ball forward, a rarity. It also means you averaged 4/3 yards on your 3 plays of that series, but no matter.
