He would play similar minutes if this was pre-season, give or take a couple. He hasn't played compe ively in like 6-7 months. These first few games are his pre season

I understand where you are coming from but its' definitely going to suck ass if Pop only plays Kawhi 16 minutes these next few games. The reason it sucks is because it throws off the team's rhythm.

I think he would have played around 24 minutes in a preseason game, so I still don't see any reason why he couldn't have played a bit more. Again, it wasn't a major injury. If he was this far off, he shouldn't have come back yet. Should have made his debut at home.

The resting also didn't help. This team looks way out of wack.

That's just Pop being extra cautious probly. But Kawhi was winded. Dude never gets tired, so he's still gotta get his wind back. Hopefully next game he gets a couple more minutes in the 20+ range, with 2 days off and a chance to hopefully scrimmage with the team

What did you expect? They went through the off season and 20plus games without their star. Reinserting him into the lineup and trying to figure it all out with him being a high usage player... whole dynamic changes.

Him playing was going to throw off the rhythm regardless, just because the team has to change how they play/adapt. So idk if it matters how much he plays. Guys are also just missing some good looks
