In the words of Daniel Bryan:
YES! YES! YES! YES!
I CAN'T wait to see Kawhi back in the lineup!
ing good news !!
damn we are close to have a healthy roster![]()
MVP !!!!!
RIP NBA![]()
will be interesting to see how the offense shifts once Kawhi is back. When he was healthy, there was a concerted effort to get him more involved with mixed results. Once he's back, I wonder if Pop goes back to it or we see him relegated to elite role player status again like last regular season...even I'm not sure what I'd like to see...tbh......
I'm guessing Friday debut against Portland? Maybe hold him out until a weaker opponent like the Jazz on Sunday?
hopefully kawhi will remain healthy for the rest of the season. doubtful for the chinadoll thou
I'd just like to see whatever keeps him healthy.
Couldn't have said this better myself.
I truly can't figure out what the best thing would be. You are absolutely right that the early results were mixed, at best, but at the time I thought there were at least two contributing factors to that:
1) Tiago being out early in the year, and Tiago is more important to a smoothly functioning Spurs offense than lots of folks realize.
2) The Spurs' offense has been so set for so long that MOST of the starters really didn't seem to know what to do with themselves when the coaches were trying to change the offensive set to include more scoring from the three position than has historically been the case.
Those two factors are undoubtedly why some of the turnovers were occurring early in the season, but none of us can be sure that there was enough time to see if it would eventually work out or not. Between the pink eye and the hand injury, there has been little time to get all the starters comfortable with a new set that includes or centers around Kawhi, and now I don't know if they can afford the losses that may come with the 'learning curve' until it gets done.
That 'corporate knowledge' thing can apparently be a two-edged sword.
Probably depends on 2 factors:
1. Kawhi's health.
2. How well Tony Parker is playing.
Kyle Anderson must play more
Kiwi is not healthy
If he isn't 100% healthy, if his hand doesn't work completely well and affects his shooting, he'll lose his new prominent offensive role, but he can still help the team, playing elite defense and rebounding.
"I'm sure about what I'd like to see"...the guy of the four games last West Coast road trip, a beast on both ends.
Leonard is certainly capable of handling more offensive responsibility, and the team need that he assume a bigger role.
Kawhi did pretty good the 2 games he played with an injured hand, only thing off was 1st quarter shooting.
He will be out tom...
My guess, he starts playing against UTAH. or around the 20th...
Every ST user the day Kawhi comes back:

How's this going? Exactly. When the team has fundamental issues, it's never one thing, never.
Folks act like there are no precedents to his weird ass healing process..Have said it many times that his immune system must be at the lowest of human tiers..
Meanwhile, this dude was frolicking around China all offseason smh. Probably contracting foot and mouth disease, lice, lime disease, among others.![]()
Or he could have more damage then we know and maybe will have to have surgery this offseason
