No. There is no scientific anything about resting players. It doesnt even make sense tbh
Manu will still be here to welcome him back.
Yahoo says he's a game time decision tonight fwiw.
Great Grandpa Juice
Real talk what's the max number of games he has to play this year so the insurance pays his contract
Kawhi's out for tonight's game

Rudy Gay (right heel bursitis), Manu Ginobili (rest), Danny Green (tightness, left groin) and Kawhi Leonard (left shoulder strain) are out for tonight’s Spurs-Kings game.
thats a lot of injured wings. fathead gonna have to carry the load and we're going to have to watch forbes play 38 minutes
After Joff and Paul he is the player on the team that I like watching least. Feels like he's good for 2 missed wide open threes a game.
Manu will still be here to put the team on his back
FIFY
Spurs have an incompetent medical staff, tbh. Kawhi knows his prospects are limited and his career is in grave danger if he stays in San Antonio.
Is this the worst season for injuries since '96-'97?
Unfortunately, we ain't getting no Tim Duncan this time.
2015 was pretty awful if you remember. All comes down to health in the playpffs.
2013-2014 was insane. At one point Splitter, Green, and Leonard were all out for a month with some overlap. Manu got injured for a stretch too. We were literally starting D-Leaguers 15-20 just to get by.
He also makes horrible decisions. And never gives LA the ball.
Yeah, both of those seasons sucked. 2014 the Spurs got lucky that everyone got healthy and gelled for the home stretch, and in 2015 the Spurs got stuck with the 6th seed due to injuries and the hyper compe ive West.
Still, the Spurs had to start this season with two of their top guns. We are already into the new year, Kawhi has played in less than 10 games, been on minute restrictions in most of them, and still hurt...while Parker is just now starting to round back into form.
Meanwhile, key pieces like Green, Anderson, and Joff () have been in and out of the lineup, and now our prize pickup of the offseason, Gay, is on the shelf for an undetermined amount of time.
We can only hope for a regression to the mean at some point.
I would be shocked if he played tonight.
Yeah, that was a bad year. I liked our chances to repeat if we had gotten the #2 seed.
Thank god they didn't announce it as a torn "labrum"
Could still be a torn labia though. We'll have to wait and see.
Kawhi is out tonight. It's our first game of the second half and we haven't really had a game with our full squad, not counting the limited minutes games. Those games hurt more than help it seems which is why we've lost most of the games Kawhi played with his 20 minute curfew. Hopefully we will get healthy at the right time.
Injuries to Green has played a big role in this but he is currently on pace to play 1500 minutes(currently at 833 minutes) this year. To look on the bright side, he's keeping Paul from getting minutes, he is just awful to watch.
they've made huge advancements in labiaplasty
Forbes 38 min along with Andersons 38 min...

And turn the ball over in the last second for another loss
