Dead Man’s Revenge!
Worse still the Spurs started off dominating the game but Pop's subs ution patterns lost the momentum that they were never able to regain.
we had a very good schedule till now...expecially for road games. The fact we have a bad road record is scaring...we lost to teams like Atlanta, Orlando and Lakers that are some of the worst this year...I am really beginning to think that our streak of 60 % or more winning games in regular season (or 50/82 or more winning games for season) is in danger...
yeah, we're going to finish the season 20-17.
If only Dedmon was European, Pop would have found a way to keep him, tbh..not like the Spurs could use a 3rd big or anything![]()
More horrible coaching from the genius. I don't know which of his 3 atrocious decisions was the worst: Playing non shooter Murray primarily off ball down the stretch, playing non creator Mills mostly on ball down the stretch or having reluctant, middling - sub par shooter Anderson in over knockdown shooter Bertans, when they needed a three on the final 2 possessions.
Davis and Mills both had horrible shooting nights. Davis 29% on 15 shots. He doesn't do anything else above average besides shooting, so one might say that was the kiss of death. Spurs could have used a better shooting night from him. But obviously Pops decisions in the stretch of a close game didn't help at all.
Edit ...weird repost.
I don't think much was expected from them tbh. But they have been better then expected.
Your Anderson bias clouds your judgement. I don't care if Bertans was at 0% on 15 shots, he's still a far better range shooter and the fact that he was shooting poorly only makes it more likely that the next one would have went in. The decision was inexplicable.
Which is fair considering he has become Mr. Glass and may never be the same again. Fact is, we didn't do enough this past offseason to give Kawhi more support. Instead, we got A Game of Thrones scrub and a dude coming off a serious injury who's in his 30s.
Once Dedmon tweeted about getting more minutes, he was a marked man in San Antonio, tbh.
This team is garbage...I wished we tanked sooner...
And he led spurs to....
is anybody seriously expecting pop/RC to build a contender around LMA and without kawhi? no.
our chances of contending are reliant on a healthy kawhi to out-duel kevin durant. no matter how they constructed this team, we would steal need MVP level Kawhi. so judging this team without kawhi is a wasted thought
So kawai was slated to play & then a game time decision took him out. Its getting beyond a joke.
No wonder this team struggles on offense with no cohesion. Their main offensive weapon plays every second or third game. Throw in the fact Tony their main PG is in & out consistently . Its choose your own adventure on gameday.
panicking before SPAM
rookies
That is a great way to describe it.
SPAM hasn't been a thing in four years bruh.
Spurs are extending Kawhi's career for another franchise with the way they mismanage him and the personnel around him.
What I find hilarious is that people are hyping Min and saying "they are on our a**".
Min has been fully healthy, have a stacked team and play their best players tons of minutes and they just TIED SA in the standings
So a fully healthy MIN is awesome and SA sucks but we have the same record and our team has been massively injured.
Cavs- gsw game, serious bball, Spurs are such clowns
Mills was wide open in the corner. Green should've passed back. There were 3 seconds left, Mills had a cleaner look, and the corner 3 is always a higher %.
