Can someone help me to understand why so many top tier programs think that he’s gonna be so successful as a D-lineman? I may be overlooking it, but I see no film of him on defense.
Texas has extended an offer to an intriguing prospect.
Louisiana athlete Michael Williams earned a scholarship from the Longhorns on Wednesday, just days ahead of his scheduled official visit.
Along with Texas, Williams, who is being recruited as a defensive lineman, holds offers from Alabama, Arizona State, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee and others.
At 6-foot-2, 240 pounds, Williams is ranked as the No. 78 athlete in the country and No. 42 overall prospect in the state of Louisiana, per 247Sports Composite.

Maybe he is another Henry Milton, an athlete that translates to the dline.
Does anyone else think it's weird that Tom Herman would hire a coach he has never met before? That to me is just crazy, the only thing I can think of is he is either grasping at straws or there is another hire about to happen along the lines of a OC.
I hope he is too, for our sake, but I’m just curious to know what proof they have of that.

Damn.
He has an tremendous amount of upside with his athletic ability. You take kids like this, red-shirt them and boom you're in business. IMO

I don't think the staff is complete.
My only question is when the next move will happen since a lot of coaches are kept through National Signing Day.
Put the coffee down. Coffee is for closers.
A few notes from Inside Texas this morning. They're saying Texas is currently in the lead for both grad-transfer tackles Casey Tucker and Calvin Anderson at this time. Also, look for Moro Ojomo to visit Texas in a couple weeks.
WR Jaylen Waddle has basketball games on Friday and Saturday in Austin.
EJ Holland saying that Carrington has been pulled off the road but I haven't seen anyone else confirm that.
Carson and Williams trending to the good guys:

Now he said that Carrington will stay on the road until the end of the week.
Inside Texas is reporting that Carrington will see WR Lawrence Keys III tonight.
24/7 is saying the door is cracked back open with Keys since the family had said recently they wouldn't be doing any other home visits.
If things go well, Keys has next weekend open for an official visit to UT.
Carrington and Coach Giles will see DT Moro Ojomo of Katy today, per 24/7.
Texas A&M is thought to be the leader, but hopefully there will be some late magic like there was with Carson last night.
Branson Bragg, nations top Center for 2019 reacting to the hiring of Coach Hand.
Can't tell if that's a good or a bad reaction.
