Legacy... = nepotism
That kinda hurt us with McCoy. Only with riches at LB and DE.
Didn't know until yesterday that Luke is a UT legacy as his dad played for Texas. Although not offering might hurt his dad's ties to the program may give us some kind of chance. Also I think the Brockermeyers are a family who can easily afford a Texas tuition without a scholarship offer, we shall see...

Ehh probably the issue with Case McCoy as he was awarded a full scholarship. Different deal here as Luke is being offered as a walk-on, he will have to prove his way into earning a scholarship. They are trying to build legit depth by offering guys who would find it hard to pass a chance at UT even with full rides elsewhere. There was a piece written for Ohio State which spoke of PWO's Urban had landed by kids who had legit full rides from Iowa State and others but they were native Ohio kids who really loved OSU. A good way to build depth, Herman attempting the same.
Worke out well with the Sendlin family and has so far worked out okay with the Johnsons.
Holland from 24/7 put in a UT crystal ball for 2019 ATH Jeffery Carter of Aledo.
Might as well get used to the trade. Texas looking at David Neil of Westlake for the 2019 class, son of Dan Neil a former offensive lineman for the Horns.
OrangeBloods reporting LB Andrew Parker of New Orleans, LA will officially visit A&M after he sees Texas mid-week.
Yeah
Exactly what I'm saying. A full scholly with embarrassment of riches. We don't have that.
We remember those.
Brian Williams No. 1 safety for 2019 commits to ags...
And here we start. We have been leading with his kid throughout the early process. It make sense, we took too many elite safeties in the 2018 and A&M has absolutely no one. Recruiting DBs will be tough this cycle, gotta find some gems. Although it sucks not getting him, it makes too much sense that we are not.
Get one or two guys to replace what we have leaving, not a huge nee this cycle. Hit DB hard again in 2020. Anyone picking Texas this cycle has to have massive game and balls to want to compete against our current group.
Damn, that's how you start 2019.
Not too bad ourselves with Roschon and I don't think we been pushing for anything until this current class wraps up. As mentioned above safety won't be priority but last people you doubt is Coach Washington and Naivar.
Oh, no doubt.
I think we're going to see a lot of blows traded between A&M, OU and Texas for 2019.
If we have the kind of year some on this board predicted last year we should be dealing the blows. Win the conference and we will connect with roundhouses. Our QB situation is still the most worrying aspect of this upcoming season for me. I think we might get the Oline going if we get that Rice kid.
I was going to comment on that but I believe the biggest threat for Gunnel is Arkansas. A report came out a couple weeks back that Fisher was at Port Neches to check out Roschon so he may know he'll likely lose Gunnel. I don't think they have a shot at Roshon though.
Orgeron wants Gunnell badly.
WR Lawrence Keys III of New Orleans, LA told OrangeBloods this evening that Notre Dame and Texas are now tied.
He will be making an NSD decision.
