1st practice will be Tuesday, May 16th at 7pm. Location coming soon, it will more than likely be at a field located at I-10 & Fresno but I will give a definite location ASAP.

I10 and Fresno is central to everyone. Its not on the NW side, its not on the NE side, its not on the southside, its pretty central.

Chris works in Converse, and by the time I get off work and pick up my kids...change and feed them we might get there by 7:30ish. But we should be there.
I'm pretty sure that you're closer to I10 and Fresno than LJ.

Aren't the fields on Basse private? I live a couple of miles from there, but I thought a company owned them and not the city. I coudl be wrong.
I'm actually laughing because I looked it up on Google maps ... and they say it's only like 7 miles. But the route they give you (the back way through the Quarry, Basse, etc.) it would take at least an hour and a half to get there. That was the stupidest route I think I've ever seen to get anywhere.

Isn't I10 and Fresno near downtown? I thought that's close to your house. It's closer to your house than the SBC Center, right?Central? Who lives in Uvalde?

I think the sbc is a little closer...because I live close to the 35/410 interchange so it's a pretty quick trip and the traffic *usually* isn't bad. The only way I know how to get to Fresno and I10 is by 410...which sucks ass over here until about 7 or 8. But it's okay...I can always take Google's back way

take 35 through downtown
and hit I-10 that way and get off on fresno
but im not sure which would be shorter for you 410 or 35
You could take 410 to west ave then take west ave over.
Take 410 to 281 to Hilderbrand and take that over.
I grew up close to that area, but don't remember any fields by Fresno, then again I never played baseball going up.
SW, I would go the route DT said. Take 281 (depending where exactly in Alamo Heights you live in) to 35 to I-10, get off on Fresno. Or if you live close to the Quarry, going down Basse to San Pedro or Blanco then to Fresno is real quick.
Some of the fields on Basse and McCullogh are the cities, the other is a little league field and the other some High School. I believe you can rent them for 15 an hr, also the field in Brackenridge park.
