good thing we gave gasol a 3 year deal

From 1 to 10, what are the odds of Spurs getting both AD and Boogie? 0 or -1?
Spurs gonna do their due diligence per par. It would surprise me if he ended up here.
I won't hold my breath.
Last off-season all over again![]()
no capspace, all spent on re-signing det culture![]()
The moment Cousins went down with that dreaded Achilles injury, Davis probably inched closer to being put on the trading block (always seemed like an inevitable matter)..Might be question of months or by 2019 deadline..
Pelicans need the best youth prospects and draft picks they can get for him and start a rebuild before he depresses his value by demanding a trade.
Again the Spurs don't even come close to having the prized assets to compete with other teams for this caliber of player..He is likely Boston-bound..
spurs and high caliber FA's... not such a great track record and the one's we do get, which are rare, end up ting the bed here in SATX.
anyone thinking Davis would ever sign to this trash team.
Why are so many people confused that Davis is a FA? He's under contract until 2020.
I doubt they can do much more than "eyeing" him, tbh.
He won't come here cause we can't afford him but seriously GFY![]()
Davis coming here doesn't seem like so much a stretch if we have cap room. He's playing in New Orleans and with Boogie's career potentially over, that team's run may have ended before it started.
Dude is walking China
Every team is eyeing Anthony Davis..
He may very well be traded next season (wouldn't surprise me at all. Almost seems inevitable), but it won't be to us. Celtics make by far the most sense as they have the most assets to acquire him. It won't be cheap, but they have the ammunition to pull it off. We, on the other hand, do not.
It would take a long-term commitment from AD for the Celtics to make such a maneuver, obviously, and they'd be contenders for years to come with he and Kyrie leading the way. If he refuses to re-sign with the Pels, then they'll be forced to trade him, and any low-ball offer they receive would be quickly matched and exceeded by the Celtics.

I really don't get why everyone thinks NO would just trade a franchise player like AD. He hasnt even expressed a desire to be traded or moved. The only team who can make a good offer is Boston. Spurs probably leaking these rumors to keep kawhi happy tbh
AD on the Warriors would be such a joke
At least, that’s the view from other front offices. Several teams — Boston, most prominently, but also Golden State, San Antonio and Chicago — will go into this trade deadline not only with their own rosters in mind, but with some consideration for the potential of a Davis trade this summer.
They would have to give up Klay and Draymond to get him. I would love to see Draymond on a ty team like the Pelicans.
yep. the linked article even says it would be a trade
this. not sure we need an injury prone big.....
Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, Rudy Gay????
NBA = fcked*
*for the 5 games they play together
That should have read.." all teams are eying Davis nect year"...
