He shouldnt be able to stand at all if he really was in the water for 8 days. Think about when you are in the water for a couple of hours your legs are weak.
That is about 6 more minutes than I could do.

The joys of living on the west coast, nothing is "live" here. Oh well
Why don't you give a try. I'll see you on the other side.
I held my breathe when he started and I got to 45 seconds. HAHA
Wow. Dude earned my respect
I wish he had hit the 9 minute mark but still...7 minutes, 9 seconds! I can't hold my breath that long.
he was doing this after breathing from an oxygen tank correct?
the record for holding your breath after breathing from an oxygen tank isn't 9 minutes its about 14 minutes. the record for holding your breath after breathing normal air is 9 minutes.
either way, permanent brain damage from oxygen deprivation occurs after 4 minutes for breathing normal air, so guess blaine is more stupider now :P
He wasn't breathing from the tank right before he went under the water. He was only using the tank about 10 minutes before but for the past week...I don't know if that matters or not to determine 14 mins or 9 mins...
It wasn't live because they bleeped him when he got off the ladder and got near the medical tent.
I knew it would be on a slight delay just incase the worst happened. No way they'd really let us watch him die.
i can breathe underwater therefore i can stay underwater for eternity
I can breathe underwater too, only better than batman.
Batman = the little mermaid![]()
he pussied out
did you watch my video?
what he does is stand at an angle and go on tippie toes to get film of people going OOH AHH
then after they leave they get a GODDAMN CRANE and hoist him up and film that.
do you think those people would OOH and AHH at him getting lifted by a crane? no, thats why he has to LIE to you by editing his !
phony bull . and looks like this pussy only hit 7 minutes too, hope he suffered some brain damage.
It's called MAGIC. They are SUPPOSED to trick you.do you think those people would OOH and AHH at him getting lifted by a crane? no, thats why he has to LIE to you by editing his !
What, do you really expect this guy to levitate? And by that logic, do you really expect him to read your mind or put a cigarette through a quarter or change the card in your hand without touching it?![]()
Ok ready hold yer breath in 1... 2.. 3.. hold it...
1. minute 2... 3... (clunk)...
I had no interest in watching any of the crap but I accidentally turned the channel on to it at about 8:15 and got hooked. It was actually quite amazing. The whole thing really was an amazing feat of human endurance. This wasn't at all about magic. As he said, it was about testing his limits. He certainly did that. They showed his training with the navy seals before he did this week long stay in the tank. They had to put boots and gloves on him before they could put the chains on him because they were worried the chains would rip off his skin after all that time in water. You should have seen his hands and feet....nasty. Before he began his time breath holding his head came out of the water for about ten minutes and took in regular air. When he began his time he went into this weird trance like state. It was pretty cool. After about 4 minutes is when he finally came out of the trance and began trying to unlock the chains. When he started having trouble with the second set of arm chains is when he stressed out and began blowing bubbles and losing all the air in his lungs. That's when the divers rushed in and rescued him. The doctors didn't think he would be able to stand or walk. He amazed everyone although he was very shaky. When they pulled him out his whole upper torso was kind of spasming. It was really weird but cool.

Interesting that you would say he's "more stupider" ... how long have you been holding your breath?
One time I was at 130 feet deep at Medina Dam. We where doing deep water training. You look up and can't see .. dark and cold.. ice cold. No hold yer breath... 1.. 2.. 3.. (being silly it's like you would die down there even trying like that). Anyway I have seen divers turn purple, had to CPR a drowing kid once etc.
I just don't see the point in trying to kill yourselfHow much money do you think Blaine made? millions?... lol
