Is there another Anthony Davis in the league? If so, I bet that's who we get.

Well unlike many fans here the league respects SA and their ability to make things happen. They are revered by most everyone (but their own fans)
Wouldn't be shocked to see Buford bring Antonio Davis out of retirement and sit him next to BP3 on the bench.
Its Daniels but still, LOLz
I mean , I know NOLA is desperately cash strapped, but I don’t know what the spurs could possibly offer even in the form of cap relief that would beat an Boston offer. Maybe if the spurs also take back Aslik’s atrocious deal.
If Danny, Gay, Joff opt-in, and they don’t do a new Kyle deal, that amounts to about 24.5m in expiring money. Add, Pau 16M and NOLA gets additional savings the year after.
No Antonio Davis is retired and works for ESPN as a studio analyst right now, but either works
Is he a franchise player? He's plateaued and doesn't win a lot of games by himself. He's certainly good, but the possibilities of his greatness have gone away.
Does Anthony Davis make GS even better if it means parting with Draymond AND Klay? Idk. I guess the Celtics makes a lot of sense too.
Kyrie
Brown
Hayward
Ant
Horford
So I assume a sop re Tatum would come off the bench? like this ruins the league. Although at least I could cheer them to beat GSW
Do you want extra salt with those fries? The Irving trade was unique because his top preferred destination was San Antonio so there was some leverage in play that the Spurs could have used to their advantage . Of course the Spurs couldn't trade for Irving straight up. That's why you bring in a third team to help make the deal work. But the PATFO and their ass-backward priorites is why trades of this magnitude involving the Spurs, choosing culture and loyalty over compe veness, rarely ever get done unless it's a straight up salary dump. Boston's offer wasn't on the table until a month after Irving requested a trade. As it is, they took a risk in the hopes Kyrie signs an extension. Stop acting like a child. Lopsidesd trades happen all the time in the NBA. Acting like the Pistons blew the Clippers away with an offer they couldn't refuse for Griffin.![]()
Oh, and the Spurs do have an asset, kawhi Leonard. Package him to NO for Anthony Davis, sign Kyrie Irving in the offseason of 2019 when he opts out, trade LMA for a mid first round draft pick and sign another third scoring option (*optional) and start a new era of Spurs basketball. Yeah, I know Anthony Davis is injury prone but so is Kawhi and if the reports are true that he's not happy here, it's better to get something of quality in return rather than losing him to free agency for nothing in the summer of 2019. Also, if Leonard does have chronic tendonopathy, he'll be lucky to average 50 games in a season going forward.
Why the excitement about this Davis? We got the Latvian Davis already, don’t need the washed up North American version tbh
the Warriors are the biggest bunch of gots that have ever existed.
That seems to be the plan; offer Klay and Dray as a starting point in a trade for A.D.
If I were N.O.P I would ask for:
Draymond Green
Klay Thompson
Jordan Bell
2019 1st
For
Anthony Davis
Alexis Ajincia
Omir Asik
OMFG yes.
You are still living in 2015 bro.
Kawhi is more injury-prone than AD at this point..And how about this china-doll who cant stay on court?
I pray the Spurs cam get in on that as a 3 team trade an get Clay.. Send both Greens to Pels. Throw Mills in too if needed.
Perhaps a more realistic option- if medical reports are encouraging in the off season is to offer Cousins a contract. Would be a high risk maneuver- given injury and temperament.
He still misses a game because of injury every other game.
Also, Davis didn't play more minutes than Steph, KD and Draymond last year. I want to see how Davis' body reacts to making deep playoffs runs every season, tbh.
Oh yeah that guy. Yeah both work for drunk RC joke.
Yeah like the Warriors need Anthony Davis, lol. Spurs need him more than they do.
