Realistically, I expect the Spurs to be 5th or 6th. I think Minny is going to fall to 7th or 8th , their next five games are tough (Boston, GSW, @ Washington @ Spurs, Houston (B2B), LAC) leaving Portland and New Orleans as possibly the 3rd and 4th seeds and potential first round match ups for us.

Hopefully they miss the playoffs. No point of even bothering at this point and we'll have a better chance of getting a better draft pick #.

Murray 8 straight games of double digit scoring, his FG% has also steadily ticked up-now shooting 44% overall and 45% on 2pt FG's

I thought him and Kyle could have played more minutes. One at 21 minutes and the other at 23... for team to lose playing Paddy 29 minutes ...

With 4:58 left in the 4th, the Spurs had a 98.2% probability of winning, and they lost to a midget and a Lonzo ing Ball.

This year gets stranger by the min from Kawhi’s injury to Pops rotations. We have done about everything possible to lose games. I’m not expecting Kawhi to come back this year and really disappointed by his lack of communication. No other star player could get away with missing most of the year and not even giving a sit down interview. It’s an embarrassment and the fans deserve better. I guess the fans don’t matter even though there wouldn’t be a league without them.
Totally agree, and I think thats why, subconsciously, Im pissed off at the situation....the whole thing has been handled disgustingly, and the fans have been the ones most disrespected here.

Kawhi himself just doesn't seem to give a about anything at this point.

Worst season in 2 decades, terrible list, not close to contending, nothing exciting going on, even our All Star does nothing to actually excite me - he's too concerned for his own touches and rhythm than the team.

    Blow it up

Even if Kiwhi will be back this season, its becoming obvious that it won't be for playing in play offs but just for re-stablishing his health in playing games...in a way that will lead thid summer to :a) re-sign him at a max or however good contract with spurs for five more years and be part of next season squad or, in case its true the relathionship with the team is broken
    b) sell him after he signed that contract at the best price possible, probably including some draft pick.
what i'm saying is that, at this point, after all these problems, if he cames back, his injury management will be continued also during at least his first four or five games he plays, and that, if it will be not necessarly bad for the team in the sense of winning games, will also not be good either...'cause the priority will not be winning games but put him back in shape in the sense of proving and showing to everybody, F.O. included, that the injury has been handled correctly and that the old Kiwhi isn gonna be back the same of last seasons...

Kyle and Gay should have played the full 4th, Pop has really been making some strange decisions to close the games

they're not strange...knowing kiwhi won't play till the last 10 games, the only goal for the season is to improve the young guys with playing time and do not lose the confidence of the veterans that are already signed for next season giving them the playing minutes in crunch time.
Kyle and Gay are both still not signed with the team for next season...Kyle in a restricted f.a. and Gay has a player option.
I frankly hope both (and Bertans) are re-signed, Kyle (and Davis) at a decent contract and Gay opting in.
But for now plaiyng them for winning games is not looking the exact priority for the team...

I’ll believe it when I see it. All the secrecy surrounding this issue is rediculous. I don’t see a sense of urgency from the organization to want to make a serious run. I’m not much for conspiracies but having more Patty is not winning basketball and it seems the team is being set up to fail.

    I think so.
I also agree with the poster above that said the only reason for Kawhi to come back at this point is to play some games to show the FO that he can manage his injury so he can get his supermax.
