What's your real point? I'll let you know if I missed it.
How about the short version:
You were wrong on one point, and probably right about others, while still seeming missing the real point.
What's your real point? I'll let you know if I missed it.
Already got to it. Go back a page.
What does it mean?
What color are you?
That was tongue in cheek you ing idiot
u mad brah?
Don't strain yourself thinking here.![]()
amirite? do you even lift? come at me brah.. etc
Is this it?
White people are only 60% of the US population. They were 98% of those hired as interns.
So its not really 14% we are talking about it is 40%.
One hundred and twenty million Americans have almost no representation in a major political party's administration (not just talking about interns here), who appears bent on shutting them out of the political process.
Seems like a small problem to me.
Do you find this to be a problem?
lol RandomRacist with the thread backfire![]()
Uh oh personal data collector going to work.
Don't strain yourself thinking here.

How can anyone say that 98% are white? How do you know how many are hispanic? I don't know about the hispanics in TX but here in Miami, I can't tell who is hispanic until they open their mouth and even then, sometimes I can't tell, because the kids/teenagers/young people speak perfect English.
I know. You pretty much have to wait until 1 or 2 in the afternoon and see if they're asleep.
Maybe for some here - it isn't ethnicity so much as the color of one's skin (white/brown).
Speculation is your thing.
At most 89% are white, but it could be a lot lower. You can't know for sure from a picture, especially a small one like that.
Oh this thread is where that came about... I didn't flip, tbh...
Most of the better jobs come both from talent AND who you know. Merit is just part of the equation, tbh, there's also who you know.
You could be the most talented person in the world, and that normally attracts attention from people that know how to get the best out of you. It's a two way street.
Look, it's not that white privilege doesn't exist, but it's just not the reason. Our society just happens to be majority white, rich people happen to be majority white, and most of those people will connect with majority white.
Just like we come from a society where woman was stay at home, and man was the breadwinner, and it will take some time until society adjusts to women and men being compensated equally for the work they do.
It's ok, these changes take time, but they're slowly happening. In the meantime, if your skin is pale, and you're a man, enjoy the privilege while it lasts, tbh.
Ok, spitball it.
How many Hispanics do you think are in that picture? Remember the screening process requires someone to be "fully supportive of the President's agenda".
Read the requirements. whitehouse.gov
Pretty obvious reason that there wasn't much melanin in that picture.
"backfire"
Not even the slightest. I meant to ask critical thinking type questions, I got to ask them. Frankly, that my questions were either not understood or ignored, simply supports my thesis that modern conservatism is intellectually and morally bankrupt.
What does it mean that almost all the white house interns were white?
Already outlined it, and asked several questions multiple times. Got a lot of non-answers.
Pick any of the following to meaningfully answer [questions in italic for easy reference]:
To cause the result of only white people getting hired, one of two things had to happen:
Only white people were seriously considered.
Only white people applied.
What are the implications, to you, of either?

Yes, I did think that. Why might that be a problem in and of itself?
Stretch yourself here.

Kind of hard to tell what kind of "merit" was considered, innit? Melanin-based merit?
I didn't ask for the explanation, I asked for the implication. Critical thinking.
What does it mean, that 40% of the US population is not represented here?
You can Google it
