I fully expect Manu to jerk the franchise around again this summer and come back at the last moment for another paycheck because "we weren't healthy and didn't see what we were made of" or some like that.

Which will also be PATFO's mentality going into free agency. I expect pretty much the same team next year. The only question is how much money they will give Manu and Porker.

That's total insanity. And exactly what I expect. Surely ownership sees through that narrative... It is not unlikely that the Spurs will be making the biggest trade in franchise history. I do not want PATFO making that deal and whatever ancillary moves come as a result (i.e. Drafting).

TBH, Manu gave the spurs million with this recent performance. Without him, Spurs don't go to the playoffs and lose millions in ticket and tv sales.

spurs should have already started to set up a team with wings 6'7 6'8 6'9 as modern basketball asks, instead we will have another season of dwarves (bp3, parker, mills, forbes) and Gasol (son of a ) where some will try to convince themselves that this team is great and just needs Kawhi (carrying the team) to be an elite team
