They have a much better system, a better coach, better talent for what they want to run, and they're in the middle of their own 'dynasty' run...

They're basically like when the Spurs with Duncan will coast sometimes, tbh... they're not unbeatable, but you gotta play solid games against them and we're simply not disciplined enough to do that...
Don't agree that its a better system or a better coach. Those are a push, imo. But they have so much more talent its not even funny. This team is a lot like the mid 90s Spurs teams except LA is great but not as good as Drob.

If then cowboys can get rid of Dez then the Spurs can get rid of Tony, Green, Forbes, Gasol, Mills, and Anderson. Add all these scrubs and Kawhi in this summer s trade.

Why do people keep saying this? Do you know how many stars have played with much worse supporting casts and still didn't quit on their teams?
Agreed I remember as a kid Barkley ing left and right about playing with scrubs in Philadelphia but he still played even though he felt his supporting cast was garbage.

I saw what you said about needing to bangwagon another team next season.
I might have. I prefer a tankathon tbh.
Wasn't in favor of it but soon as Manu goes I'd clean house with Paddy.

This ty collection of players still won 47 games and reached the playoffs in the West..2006-2009 LeBron, 2005-2007 Kobe, 2005-2006 Garnett, late 2000s Wade, etc all would have easily taken this group over theirs, yet they still didn't quit on their teams

Man can't even sit on the bench and pretend to care for 3 hours..

Not as distressed about this half as some seem to be. There are things here that can work. The things that don't are a lot more numerous. Pop not playing Forbes ever again or having Patty on Klay for starters. Bertans works as a rotation player. Gay should get more time with Aldridge. Green on Durant as been good, despite that final play. I have no issue with the team being blown out this game if they use it to research like they did last year against Houston. GS is making a lot of tough shots, and the Spurs have missed some chippies. These teams are closer than it seems.
I'm not worried about how we defend them so much more as we can't break them down on defense and McGee is actually doing a great job on LMA. I don't even blame LMA because I think McGee is just playing out of his mind. We're also non existent on the offensive boards which is unusual.

They have to trade him after this stunt. I wouldn't trust him to resign, I wouldn't resign him for something close to 200 mil over 5 years.

Same as GSW is getting mismatches all over with Durant why aren't the Spurs doing the same for Aldridge?

Garnett was really happy that he wasted his peak w/ the Wolves & Kirby didn't demand trades multiple times

Last I checked, LeBron/Dominos are essentially closer to being Kawhi's peers & they took their talent elsewhere. (Actually, Kyrie is his peer)

Honestly anyone still willing to give Kawhi the benefit of the doubt when the man can't even be on the ing bench can right off.

McGee is not playing out of his mind. He's playing against the slow, old, unathletic, post-up Spurs. This is his best kind of matchup.

The Spurs system is???? we're still trying to find an iden y... LMA gotta get his touches, that much we know.

But they didn't ing quit. Lebron left during free agency, not during the middle of a ing season.

Forbes, Joffrey are playing for pennies. I wouldn't considerd them being on the team as anything relevant. Gasol is eating 18mil of the cap space, for allegedly two more years

This garbage squad barely eeked out a must win game at home against the Kings, you all really expected them to be compe ive for a half against the Dubs?

Pop's probably been doing more scouting in Napa than the ing Warriors this week tbh.

Our two best offensive rebounders are Fathead and DJ, both got benched... I suspect Pop cares more about transition D than offensive boards

Yeah dude its easy to look motivated and like you have a great system when you're loaded with talent. Pop made 2013 and 2014 happen without the players that GS has. GTFO with this , honestly.

Pop will live off past reputation forever. This poorly constructed team and the numerous poor coaching decisions are his fault and no one else's.
