I know this forum was never 100% people with good basketball takes but it was never this full of people who are practically hoping for the Spurs to lose and there's been a huge decline in people who actually understand basketball too.
This version of Spurstalk deserves this version of the Spurs, TBH.
This is just a road team. Maybe (hopefully) it's not so much that the Curry-less Warriors are so much better as much as it is that. I think we'll get atleast one at home, tbh.

Nice effort, tbh, they're just lacking talent..Warriors have 2 stars to score whenever they need buckets, Spurs only have 1 and he's a post player in an unfriendly era..would be nice to have a perimeter star, but where would the Spurs find one?
Manny, if it makes you feel better...I called the Spurs getting skull ed by double digits every single game this series. I've never waivered and you should at least try to make some money off this horrible roster until Vegas catches up tbh.

Parker made a couple. Murray single handedly led to an 8 point swing in the first minute of the 2nd half. Forbes sucked too though. Good thing I'd rather have someone else in other than any of those 3.

Don't even need a star tbh, just role players who will actually hit their shots. For the longest time they've been able to find a Mills, Neal or whomever to hit a few 3s and that pipeline seems to be dry now.
Honestly, pretty good effort all around tbh. I thought Pop coached one of his best games in a long time especially with benching Porky. Unfortunately, Gary Forbes Finley Mason Jr. saw too many minutes but you can't really blame Pop too much since the team can't hit a open 3 to save their life. The only terrible move was Fatty on Klay but I don't think Danny or anybody else would have made a difference since Klay was hot.....
Minus LMA, this is a bottom 2-3 team in talent level so losing by less than 25 against the Warriors is pretty ing good moral victory tbh....

Thompson is one of the 20 year old's that play ball at the gym with a boy haircut, who are skinny as , have nice ass shoes, who don't even look like they can play basketball and only shoot outside shots and they make ing everything somehow. I hate them!

Spurs missed To many great looks. They win if they just hit the good ones. Iggy & Draymond splashing too. Just bad luck. The offense & defense functioned well. The poor shooting doomed both ends

This is a 40-45 team minus kawhi, as oppossed to 60ish and they're going up against a the best team in the league even without curry.
