And for you morons making jokes about it let's see how you feel whenever one of your family members dies and people start making comedy skits about your dead mother.
Sadly not surprised. But Really can't do anything but ignore them.
Isn't that around the time he started making comments about life being bigger than just basketball? We all blasted him for having lost his "fire" but it all makes sense now.

Pretty classless to ask LeBron about that in the postgame. Sickening. Just looking for a viral soundbite.
Bad year for sure.
Sad news... may she rest in peace
My heart goes out to Coach Pop and all of his family. The game tomorrow and the rest of the series just doesn’t seem as important anymore. I hope the team plays their hearts out tomorrow night to honor Coach Pop.

Bruh exactly! I always ask these dudes why they so emotional! I’ve said from day one Pop is that A+++ type of dude!
Old story on Mrs. Pop was that she used to give Pop the business when he would get on the players too hard.
She undoubtedly saved TP from getting chewed out even more than he got. She took up for all the players like they were her sons.
Been busy at work but I come home, shocked to be reading up on this awful news. May she rest in peace and my heartfelt condolences to the Popovich family. Hope coach takes all the time he needs to process this sadness and can find the strength to continue on in his wife's honor. I'm sure she was a wonderful person. I'm also disgusted to see some of the sick jokes at Pop's expense. It's not cute, it's not funny, it's disgusting. Stop with that, please and show some respect.
Me too. Completely unexpected. Perhaps it’s bc the person affected the most (Pop) is someone we “know” from fandom and have even admired for a long time. Someone passing away is tough on the living. The person who died is at peace and done. Anyways it’s shocking to me. I didn’t even know she was sick.
TNT and ABC/ESPN better exempt Pop from any stupid interviews, if he even coaches the rest of the playoffs at all.
I had read a couple of times she was sick. RIP. Condolences to Pop and their children.
What did he say?
Quin Snyder looked rough in his post game interview after receiving the news.
That picture they just showed on TNT hit hard tbh
For your convenience, here's a partial list of posters to add to your ignore list based on comments in this thread:

It's only a partial list because several are already ignored, so I can't see their comments. Feel free to add to it.
Yes, first time I heard of it was like 2 years ago when Pop needed to take a couple of days during the Season to be w/ his wife who had a relapse.
Shaq said he couldn't get size 18-19 shoes in high school so his stepdad went to the Spurs and Pop gave him a couple of pairs for Shaq to wear. The timeline lines up with when he was an assistant to Larry Brown.
woke up to a text from a friend with this terrible news... RIP Erin
Definitely puts life into perspective.
said he was jawing with pop during a game and his dad called him after the game and said don’t ever disrespect pop like that. Then preceded to tell him the about the shoe story.
I'm sure Craig Sager's son will send Pop his condolences too.
