pretty rare for chris to outright explain to us what his convictions or beliefs are

dude still hasn't told me if he thinks the earth is flat or spherical
Dude thinks he's going to be raptured in a week anyway. Don't know why he still has such earthly concerns.

Trump is drowning in scandal. He can’t focus on Syria.

It tells you something about the chaos engulfing the Trump administration that the U.S. airstrikes on Syria had to jostle for public attention with the voluminous news of the president’s scandals.

Friday began with President Trump labeling his former FBI director “an untruthful slime ball.”

He was responding to James B. Comey’s new book, which calls Trump an “unethical” man “untethered to truth.”

Such invective, both from and against a former FBI director, is unprecedented.

It is hard to imagine how Trump can do his job — for example, approving military strikes on Syria — while drowning in this rising tide of scandal.

There is an old tradition, more honored in theory than fact, that

issues of national security are kept separate from domestic politics,

but Trump is utterly incapable of making any such distinction.

For him, everything is political — and all politics is personal.

Last Monday, while Trump was meeting with his generals and Cabinet members to plot strategy against Syria,

he got sidetracked with a disturbing tirade against the FBI and the Justice Department for raiding Cohen’s office

    — which he called a “real disgrace” and an “attack on what we all stand for.”

The new national security adviser, John Bolton, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff sat ashen-faced as Trump unloaded on the career professionals of the Justice Department and FBI

who, just like the armed forces, are pledged to defend the country against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

dispassionate foreign policy analysts are supposed to put all this to the side and comment on the Syria strikes as if they were being undertaken by a president in his right mind.

it’s hard to imagine that Trump, who in the best of times has the attention span of a hyperactive 8-year-old, can focus on strategy for Syria amid the far more pressing threats that he faces from an ever-expanding criminal investigation.

If the United States had a parliamentary government, Congress could pass a motion of “no confidence,”

thus allowing Trump to devote 100 percent of his attention to fighting the multiplying charges against him without the distractions of running the government.

Instead, we must hope that the ins utions of the U.S. government are strong enough to function more or less on autopilot

while Trump is consumed by the wages of his own sins.

Trash isn't a problem for the functioning of the Exec, or Congress. ( Functioning of Congress? )

It's the oligarchy's kakistocracy that the Repugs have handed Trump for the Exec and the judiciary that are damaging govt, USA, Americans.

Trump's reelection committee has spent more than $1 out of every $5 on legal fees this year

as the president contended with the ongoing special counsel investigation and a new legal challenge from an adult film star.

Of the $3.9 million Trump's committee spent in the first quarter of 2018, more than $834,000 went to eight law firms and Trump Corp. for legal fees, according to Federal Election Commission records filed Sunday.

The latest figures bring the Trump campaign's total spending on legal fees to nearly $4 million since the president took office, records show. In the last quarter of 2017, Trump's campaign committee spent $1.1 million in legal fees.

The biggest share of legal payments in the first quarter of this year — about $348,000 —

went to Jones Day, a law firm representing the campaign in the investigations by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III and several congressional committees into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

French Canadians have big lips. Schumer giving up on stand up because of DRUMPF is hilarious. She's not sexy or funny but is being cast for big Hollywood movies as such. If you don't like the video no need to all over it, just change the channel.

I hate Amy Schumer. She is only funny as an insult comic and that isn't hard, most of the posters here are funny insult comics. The vid sucked and was a misleading le focused more on the host's stupid rant. I was hoping for more.

What will Congressional Repugs do when Trash fires Rosenstein and Mueller?

McC has blocked the bipartisan bill to protect Comey.

I think the Repugs will just shrug and keep trashing Comey, the FBI, the CIA, deep state and keep protecting/enabling/enriching themselves and oligarchy.
