Huh? Miss it, GSW rebounds, and calls timeout with 0.2 seconds left and advances the ball. Then they just need a lob to the basket and a tip-in to force OT. Paul did the right thing hitting that second free throw.
    No

How about that no-call on the blatant moving screen by Klaynus on that last shot by Curry too.

Neither team ran anything. Just dribble up and chuck. Painful to watch. I think players are forgetting how to run end game offenses. They just seem to go into panic mode now.
    pathetic display

What do you mean no? Only 0.3 seconds has to tick off the clock when the team rebounds the miss. If they bobble it game over, but if not they're getting that timeout with 0.2 seconds left on the clock.

Rockets are -1 for game 5 but I suspect Golden State would be favored for game 7 at Houston. Weird how gambling lines work

I'm pretty sure a lob hoping for a tip-in is a much lower percentage play than a catch and shoot heave. There's also the chance that it isn't a heave and the opponent gets a clean look, which is exactly what happened.

Dubs could've won it if they just took it to the rim but they wanted to go for the 3. Durant should've just posted them up
Why wouldn't they go for 3, did you see the way Curry was stroking, just make sure it was a good shot.

CP0's media support is just unreal. He did everything he could to choke this game away, and this is the media's narrative:

I swear, this guy is the most coddled, protected star the NBA has ever seen.

Harden and CP took turns to choke during the game. They were outchoked by KD and Curry in this game

I was thinking Dwight Howard's gamewinner on Duncan, though he caught and dunked it since there was 0.8 left. You lob that ball up to Durant or to McGee and if the tip goes in it's automatic OT. In the days of instant replay you're running a huge risk of your shot being called off if you're trying to catch and shoot a three with 0.5 seconds left.

Not just a lob attempt, but the chance of a foul being called on the lob attempt and Golden State getting the homecourt call for two free throws. How about a fluke foul getting called on the rebound off the missed free throw and no time running off?

People may differ, but I would have made the second free throw too. Fluke happens sometimes. Derek Fisher. So I’d rather be up three than two. The previous play looked like .2 seconds and the referees gave them .5 so who’s to say they don’t get another generous fraction of a second on a timeout after rebound?

Either decision makes it unlikely for Golden State to win. But both decisions still leaves a possibility, whether how unlikely. I’d rather be up three than two.

It's far more likely to be deflected by the other team. No one would guard the 3-point line and the defense would presumably have its tallest players in.
