When it comes to pure knowledge of track & field, SFS is miles ahead of anyone I’ve ever known. He doesn’t spam googled lists to try and get people to believe he’s an expert. He actually shares valuable information about the sport, and describes the science of it and has information that you’d only expect from someone in the inner circle of those involved n the sport. He’s way beyond what anyone who can just look on the internet for history and statistics. Stuff like that is available to anyone.

What valuable information, yep...ya can't give us anything. Dude, if this guy really thinks a middle school kid is capable of running the 200 in 19.5=20.5 that screams.......KNOW NOTHING.
Do you know anything at all about 200m sprinting? Nobody in the world is running a 19.5 and only a few sprinters in history have gone there, it is IMPOSSIBLE for some kid to run 19.5-20.5.....ok?

A 100m works like this....
Block clearence/getting out with the gun, then here comes the accelleration phase, this is getting up to topend or max velocity, once that is accomplished now it's sustain/maintain that MV as long as ya can before entering the next phase which is decelleration. No sprinter can run all out for more than 70ish meters, so those able to sustain/maintain a higher % of that MV have an advantage. That is what seperated Usain Bolt from everybody else (other than Tommie Smith) he was able to hold on to that topend longer, he decellerated at a slower pace. This is why 100m sprinters run all those 300's, speed endurance.
Trust me that would be Greek to SFS.
Unless you are a sprinter all that technical mumbo jumbo is boring, whats interesting is the athletes involved and the compe ion, the times and marks accomplished. Ever notice SFS never talks the actually athletes in the sport, yep.....no clue.
