He’s just another one of those “Warriors are unbeatable” fans.
No, they are, but not by this old-school team. Even having a FL of Leonard-LBJ-LMA, this team is still and old school team, with basically no backcourt. GSW will be beaten by one of the new super athletic teams, where they can truly switch everything, react to any mismatch. I am thinking about Philly, Boston or the Bucks.

Look at the problems the Pelicans caused to GSW.

LeBron, Kawhi and Aldridge have as good a chance or better as Houston did imo. It depends if Spurs can add a fourth player to that big 3 say Cousins (doubt it won't take less than the max). Cousins if he can keep his cool could battle Green while letting Kawhi and LeBron go to work. It's obvious to beat the Warriors you need a big 4. Spurs will still have the same problems obviously every team has with Warriors, the sharp shooters in Curry and Thompson.

Cousins in unnecessary. There are three players the Warriors have struggled to defend one on one. Lebron, Leonard and LMA. Spurs would need to address shooting beczuse it's likely they will llose mills and Gasol.

Well, to be fair, the dubs did build through the draft before landing Durant.
    t

They did. They benefited from one of the most injury plague playoffs. Cap increase. Ignoring tampering rules. They were a run franchise and the stars aligned. Majority of non Warriors fans put * on their les.

They did. I disliked them for being dbags, which is a different reason. But as you said, that was before Durant.

Last night was a game to lose. If your MVP scores 9 pts you lose. But hey, they have another one.

i don't see how lebron goes to h-town. cp3 wants the max, capela needs to get paid. anderson's contract is an albatross. and then there is just the strategic side of it; does lebron really want to play on an offense that tends to bog down and for a coach who is a perennial playoff choker?

Lebron would thrive in their offense I think. Houstons game plan is to space the floor with shooters and run PnR with capela. Lebron would have a field day playing one on one with any defender and he's a better finisher than harden. Bron wouldn't do what harden would do and chunk 3 pointers after a couple of dribble moves.

    Yes Bron would thrive...

But it’s more about Harden and Paul playing off the ball..especially Harden that can be concerning. But if you’re Houston you do whatever it takes..especially losing Capela etc.

It’s the best trio LeBron could form just don’t think it’s the best fit and if that style can beat GSW. Cannot forget the defensive side of the ball..Rockets would expect a lot from him with Ariza and Capela gone...games aren’t won on paper

If Kawhi situation gets straightened out, absolutely. LeBron needs Kawhi, not a pretender like PG13.

If Lebron comes to SA it would be crazy in a good way. He has never played for a coach/org where he doesn't have to worry about any administrative issues. Or even making sure that they know what defensive assignments they need to play. On top of that DJ, Kawhi, Gay =excellent on ball/help defense, absolving Lebron from worrying about anything defensive related both from a physical and mental standpoint. On top of that he would have a Coach that would know how to manage him effectively without exerting him to the max. However, this is all contingent upon Lebron wanting to come to a city/market like SA (Cleaveland is no better tbh) and be willing to give up having full reigns (which is the real issue).

    DJ
    Gay/Green
    Kawhi
    Lebron
    LMA

Would beat the Golden State s, definitely repeat, maybe three-peat

That team still wouldn't beat GSW, TBH.
So Houston was beating them until they lost CP3, and Lebron Kyrie & buncha scrubs could do it, but its and will always be impossible?

real talk: houston should package anderson with harden after he wins mvp this summer.

acquire lebron + an elite-ish wing defender, resign capela & paul to non max contracts, and then run it the back.

rockets were up 3-2 against golden state... imagine the same houston roster with lebron instead of harden

capela would easily be the best big man lebron has played with and cp3 would easily be the best point guard that he's played with too.

it's so ed up, harden can actually play defense when he feels like it... but often times he's just... so checked out, it's embarrassing.

if the rumors about market or shoe deals have any merit with kawhi, Lebron's presence would fix that I guess

All Def Team Murray and Spurs defense will slow down and disrupt Curry’s tempo. Kawhi will shut down Thompson all day and that’s a promise and don’t even start with his offense how is Thompson guarding him? LeBron cancel out Durant, a resurgent LMA can score over Draymond, Gay and Co takes care of 2nd team, Pops >>> Kerr. Really?? Spurs cannot beat Dubs with this line-up? Only thing is trade Pau’s expiring contract to rebuilding team, maybe he wants to play with his brother. I’d like to keep Mills too he’s still Spurs best outside shooter. Bring Milutinov to back LMA and maybe draft Robinson as project big. This team is stacked in 5-7 years. I hope LeBron sees it that way.
He won't see it that way.

If LeBron came here, then kiss good bye Murray and the draft pick just to get him, plus every other measure to cap clear bc he’s already said he’s never playing for less than the max again. So no lineups with Murray or Gay or a new draft pick.

That is not true at all. There are numerous and even likely scenarios where Murray is here and Lebron gets max.

Being a fan or not, Bosh was clearly levels better than Capela even though Clint has worked himself into a modern day valuable piece (even though he was pretty much negated most of the GS series)

Paul would still gimp out before or during the playoffs. It's what he does.
