it is impossible that there are so many people wrong, popovich, parker, ginobili the rest of the team, he is a traitor, he is a clown, he has done the maximum possible damage to the organization, he left his teammates in the regular season....

Uncle Dennis vs Lavar, I'd pay to see that .
Lavar is a self-made, media icon, tbh..if he was running this, Kawhi would already be wearing a Lakers jersey and Pop would be crying in a corner like he just spent an hour in Kobe's room..

If they're smart that's what they'll do. Although apparently the Lakers can't sign him outright in free agency for some reason.
    Really? Why couldn't they?

Some will be capped out, some know he wouldn't be the first choice and want the leg up, and it's better to win now then next year. Kawhi would also lose more contract rights as a free agent
Makes sense, thanks. But what rights would Leonard lose?

Philly and LA could just wait a year. Boston could never create the capspace so they'd want to make a move now to get him.
Sounds like Boston is the only way we actually get something for Kawhi then.

MoSpur02 "source" told him that Kawhi has a "mental issue", then his doctors found an ossification in his quad...Do you really think a "mental issue" make a bone grow??

Mo and you and your "close sources to the team"... At least, you make me laugh.
    You don't think he has mental issues??? That's fine. I think he does. I reported what I heard, which was;

Spurs were considering trading him before the trade deadline. - True
Uncle was the one who was influencing Kawhi and this whole situation. - True
Was becoming a distraction and somewhat a cancer in the locker room. - True

You kept saying he was hurt. I disagreed and stated he was cleared, but didn't want to play.

"group comment" is at about 2:45

Kawhi has apparently been stalling on meeting with Pop and might just want to speak with him on the phone. What a ing pussy POS.

Yep. So in the end the "group" thing is still the issue. Pop wants a 1-on-1 ala with LMA last year. Kawhi's group wants to be there. Neither side budges. Now the camp says he wants out. Whether genuine or a tactic who can say. The problem with having Leonard's advisers there is Kawhi is unlikely to even say a word. You can't repair the relationship with a crowd, you can only have a formal negotiation. But I do see (critical as I am of Kawhi) why a shy guy would want them there, especially if he trust Dennis and CarAgent, and no longer trusts the Spurs.

In the end, I think the Spurs are going to have to cave and just get a meeting with the groupies present and give it their best shot. Otherwise, trade his ass.

This sounds like a ploy by Kawhi’s uncle to gain leverage in negotiations when Pop and Kawhi sit down to discuss the supermax, especially when that article by Woj came out that the Spurs were a long way from doing so.

If I'm the Spurs I say the meeting and just cut the cancer. It's time for him to go. Congrats Uncle Dennis on costing your nephew a $219 million extension.

I would’ve preferred they keep him and try to make it work but at this point it’s too late to go back.

    — History of annoying injuries that cost him games
    — Degenerative chronic quad injury
    — Still not 100% after a year
    — A mute
    — Very questionable handlers and representation
    — About to eat up a huge percentage of your cap

A really terrific player and it was a pleasure watching him play. Thanks for the memories. But given all the drama, it’s time they cut their losses and make the best possible deal.

You don't think he has mental issues??? That's fine. I think he does.
So...you think it or your "source"? Like it or not, his quad was injured. Spurs' doctors diagnosis tendinopathy, his doctors said it was ossification.

Of course, "your source" who is a doctor said "mental issue"...Again, you make me laugh.

Spurs were considering trading him before the trade deadline. - True
Every reporter says the Spurs didn't even hear Boston's offer..But sure, they wanted to trade him at deadline.

Your "source" was wrong again, I wonder why...

Uncle was the one who was influencing Kawhi and this whole situation. - True
His uncle is like a father for him, everyone knows it. It's pretty obvious that Kawhi trusts him more than any agent..

You kept saying he was hurt. I disagreed and stated he was cleared, but didn't want to play.
He didn't want to play?? Why did he come then? He came back and played 9 games until he felt pain again.

I don’t think ‘the meeting’ is about the SuperMax or any other negotiation. Pop wants to see if things can be fixed. If Kawhi won’t even meet, then there is zero chance to fix things, and reestablish trust. It’s over.

He might be the most annoying broken record fanboy I have ever seen in any sport message board. And you know what, he will keep digging in ..
