Dude was killing it against the Warriors all season, he's no Clarkson (who I've seen several Spurs fans hype up here) & he's much better than Kuzma imo.
If the Spurs take Deng's contract I'll sponsor you for a green card.

Lol bleacher report is ass
It doesn't matter that he's disgruntled. All that matters will be, is the Lakers offer better than the Boston offer...or the Philly offer etc. Nothing else really matters.
AMEN BROTHER..........AMEN............
I’m serious - If SA trades with LA and takes Deng I quit.
I hate to feed the troll but . . .
Spurs have the best all-time winning percentage in the NBA as of right now.
And if we want to manipulate statistics, Spurs have more les in the last 16 years (four) than do the Lakers (two).
And in two more years, the Spurs will have more les in the last ten years (one) than do the Lakers (zero).
And the Spurs are on a twenty+ year streak of making the playoffs.
And the Lakers are on a five year streak of not making the playoffs.
And the Spurs are on a twenty+ year streak of finishing double-digit wins over .500. (An NBA record I believe.)
And the Lakers are on a five year steak of finishing double-digit losses under.500. (Not an NBA record -- yet.)
Okay, that's enough . . .
If Boston gets Kawhi the karma of the ‘97 lottery will have come full circle.
Laker fans getting ballsy after stewing in garbage for the last decade.how many FAs have scoffed LA since then? Ima laugh when spurs trade Leonard east and lebron goes to Philly and LA ends up with only PG

Yeah but George Mikan!
I don't see how a lottery team like Sac and PHX could trade their pick for a 1 year lease in Kawhi. I dont see Kawhi agreeing to sign and trade so I'm assuming those are very low possibilities unless a 3rd team from the east is willing to come in.

Something worth noting when thinking about any (long-shot) Kawhi Leonard trade to NYK: Kyrie Irving had the Knicks on his list of trade destinations last summer. It's impossible, of course, to talk with any certainty about potential landing spots for Irving more than 12 months away from his free agency. Plenty can change between now and next July. But people around the league expect New York to remain a desired destination for Irving if he hits free agency next summer. And if Irving is interested in New York, you can be sure that the Knicks will be interested in Irving next summer, when they project to have significant cap space. But it's hard to see a scenario where New York can trade for Leonard, have enough money to sign Irving as a free agent and keep Kristaps Porzingis. Also, it's logical to assume that any deal that lands Leonard in New York would have to include the Knicks sending Porzingis to San Antonio.

He is dead to me for most part short of 2003 Duncan run from him.
I don't think the same enthusiasm will be there for him. The unsavory baggage that has come out in this saga which has reflected elements in personality/character has been quite damning.
They would not even consider trading him to LA just for them to make way for a super team. That was reported a while back in the season.
Kawhi's sister chime in on this yet? (Don't know her twitter account) She's the only member of his family who posts often.
Indubitably.
go easy on my INS LkrFan. He's gonna end up living in Palmdale (if he doesn't already) since Boyle Heights is getting gentrified as tbh
man I kind of miss Boyle Heights. It'll be tragic if King Taco and El Tepeyac get turned into Jamba Juices.
Harden made himself his tbh.
Haha. No doubt. But have more faith in PATFO than that. I read something a ways back that Pop will not do business at all with the Lakers, whether or not he gets a great deal. Something about not liking the way something went down a number of years earlier. May have been the Pau trade.
I know that whole fiasco with The Logo trading away their best asset for next to nothing (at the time) pissed me off. And seeing how it likely prevented at least one more Spurs le, I'd bet that it irritates Pop beyond what I can imagine.
Am I the only one hoping for the parties to reconcile and Kawhi back with the team. None of the trade scenarios are appealing. You simply don’t trade a talent like Leonard. Pop needs to get on his knees and give him the supermax. I’m not buying that he’s ready to walk away from it. Even if he declines, play it out at least until the trade deadline to see if time can heal these issues.
Lol. that noise.
Getting Ayton or Donic is very appealing to me.
Very well said and I'm hoping for the same.
He should be begging
