RC was trying to move up to number 10 to draft this guy. I hope they let him develop as a starter too. This, at a minimum, should mean the end of the Paul experiment, as they most likely will eat his salary. Just no time to give him any minutes.
walker has great balance and can finish off either foot and with either hand. he doesn't shy away from the big moment either. donovan mitc was asked who the player in this draft would be the next donovan mitc and he more or less said that walker is a taller version of himself.
Spurs like high-character players and his letter to his high school shows me he has some innate character coming into the league, not something devised by a PR advisor or an accountant. Maybe the glasses are just a head fake to make him look smart--or like that TV character with a similar haircut in an old sit-com, eh?
Maybe he can teach Murray to dribble below the knees with TWO basketballs. I already like his handle better than Murray.
Him and Metu are now two most athletic players on the team absolutely love both picks.

He was one of the few exceptions with drafting small for me. Hopefully this signals the departure of those bums Porker and Forbes but I won't hold my breath.

Doubt it, DRob was soft. He never had what it takes to win. Timmy is just cut from a different cloth.
DRob was my dad's favorite NBA player, the reason why he became a Spurs' fan and made me one. I LOVE him.
But he won't be in a Spurs' uniform next seasons, it's likely Pop will retire in 2020, Manu too, and Parker looks so washed at this point of his career.
Just be honest, you know it would have been better if they would have kept their mouths closed instead of bashing and running Kawhi out of SA...
I would have preferred they would have been smarter and long-term thinking...After Pop's retirement the Spurs will need all the talent they could get and that's not exactly Tony Parker.
I don't expect anything from Kawhi's camp since they're stupid, newbies and unprofessional but expected way more from the Spurs.
If they would have handled this situation better, they could have kept Kawhi or get great offers for him this offseason. Kawhi's camp at ute helped to decrease this player's value as much as these Spurs' comments.
