When white/black/Asian Americans can't get a job because they prefer someone who speaks spanish, yep....problem.

When the roads are full of uninsured Mexican drivers, yep....a problem.

When ya walk into a coutroom and look up on the docket and it's all....

    Garcia
    Gonzalez
    Hernandez

    ....sucks.

When ya see a Mexican lady walking into the welfare offfice with two young kids, pushing another one in a stroller and..pregnant....not good.

When it's.....to hear this in English press one.......what?

I must have 12-15 spanish speaking TV stations, yep....sucks. The radio has to be 70% spanish speaking stations.

If some mother er with no family friends house money experience and can't speak English took your ing job, I'm laughing at you up.
Problem is that that the children of that m**********r with no family friends house money experience and can't speak English will have a better story to tell than your kids, will get into that Ivy League school (and get a full ride unlike yours who probably will go to a state school because that's what you can afford), and will take your kids' jobs. So while you're being good and paying all your taxes (which will help educate his kids K-12) and this m************r is getting paid cash under the table, I suspect that things will look mighty unfair when college decisions/financial aid awards come rolling in. Then who is the last laugh going to be on.

It's the very rich and very poor (on full rides) who are going to the Ivies and elite schools. The middle class' kids go to state universities.

Shortage of employees is not the same thing as deteriorating quality.

Who says I'm going anywhere with it. I'd like to see the info behind his claim.
You are especially idiotic when you try to act like you know what your talking about. There is no shortage of people wanting to drive truck. There is a shortage of people who are competent, can pass a drug test, show up on time, have a valid license and can be trusted behind the wheel of a $200k rig and the liability that go along with it.

That's where the deteriorating quality shows up. Have you ever made small talk with any small business owner?

Me - use my immigrant story - lol - way back then there wasn't that sort of thing going on - I didn't get any leg up because of the color of my skin (as opposed to now - being virtually discriminated against because of skin color). Nope, for me, public hs to free community college (by virtue of merit [graduating top 10%]) then on to UF (another public school).

Mock all you want - when your kids are not black/hispanic, first generation going to college, low income, you will be paying full freight at a state university (which very rarely hands out scholarships/financial aid help).

You're putting words in my mouth in a rambling mess of a post.

I'm not looking for your anecdotes. I'm looking for the info to back up ducks' claim.

Harvard is a private school that gets to admit who they want to.

But I bet I know what your nutty conservative stance on the baker refusing the gays a cake is.

I wouldn't want my kid to go to that cesspool of liberal thought - didn't even apply - who knows what crazy ideas she'd come out with. Nope, public university for her - probably in your backyard - with a precious (and rare) out-of-state waiver (awarded based on merit). Thank you very much - UT-Austin.

If you can't see the difference between the top 7% of Texan high schools kids (probably middle class) attending UT-Austin and the very rich and very poor kids attending Harvard, I don't know what to say. There were plenty of like-minded evangelical Christians at UT-Austin. Very little exposure to professor liberal thought as she APed out of almost all her general ed (specifically the social science) classes.

Am I not being clear - their KIDS are who your kids will be competing with (with a much better story, being first generation going to college and very low income).

You are the one who specifically mentioned Harvard - not me. Where my kids are concerned, I look at the program (major) and how strong it is (and of course, if I can afford it).

I'm trying to think of the perfect lol for you not knowing Harvard is Ivy League but oh well this'll do: lol.

I'm getting deja vu. Didn't we go through this before about what schools are in the Ivy League?
