LeBron already said before free agency that he's not meeting with any team face-to-face.
He met with Magic face to face.

To be perfectly clear, the Philly package would be 50 cents on the dollar for Kawhi. But it's a of a lot better than two ing nickels in Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma that the Lakers are offering
    ing wooden nickels

They aren't gonna give up Simmons. That's LeBron's boy. Covington, Saric, Miami's 2021 is the base, then you ask for Smith/Fultz/more picks. Spurs would have then Mills/Parker(?)/Walker/White/Murray/Fultz/Smith. That's a logjam, so you can trade the excess for more assets. But before you close in on a deal with Philly you check if the Celtics and Lakers wanna step in and make a desperate offer.
Simmons is worthless without the ball.

Also if Spurs get Fultz I’m flipping him if there’s a decent offer. He’s strictly an asset to me and a declining one at that. Unless they’re really confident Chip can untwist that pretzel I’d sell before value declines any further

Fultz/RoCo/Saric/Miami pick is the baseline tbh. It's up to the Spurs if they want more but I absolutely believe Philly would offer that baseline deal right now no question.

Zaire Smith and an extra pick would be icing.

Even if LeBron ends up signing in LA, i still see Philly offering that baseline deal just to secure the East from Boston.
Make them throw in Smith, then I’d include Danny in that deal if it meant getting it done. Philly needs shooting and defense if they are signing LeBron. Like you said, we are still losing that trade, but that’s by far and away the best package we are likely to get. trading him to the Lakers

Kawhi needs to stay. Spurs need to get rid of Mills, Pau, and Green and go after LeBron

Yep. The Spurs would then have way too many guards. You don't have to keep all them. Flip some for more assets.

I'm good with trading away Danny and Patty to get that baseline deal back plus Zaire Smith and another 1st rounder. I'm fine with it. That's a ing steal for Philly.

these trades. I think if I'm RC I just tell Kawhi he is under contract another year and then offer him the supermax next summer if he qualifies for it. If he doesn't then he probably walks, but if he can't make at least the All-NBA 3rd Team next year to earn that deal then he's not worth keeping anyways.

The Spurs FO loses all credibility if they deal Kawhi to just make a trade. I honestly can’t believe fans think they’ll do a quick 3 year turnaround like it’s the NFL. Quick rebuilds don’t happen in the NBA. All of these trades suck. It doesn’t matter which one is the best. They all suck, and none of them are worth considering. Offering Kawhi the supermax or just keeping him are the 2 best options for this team. I honestly can’t believe this fanbase is eager for the dark days.

The thing is once you enter the dance your fans will be expecting you to deliver. So now that Magic and Philly are fighting for Lebron and K-Y they have to deliver it their jobs are on the line. You can’t come away with nothing the fans and the media will never let that go.

If Philly has the remote chance of getting Lebron if they trade for Kawhi, why would they hesitate trading any piece of that team outside of Simmons/Embiied?

Kawhi was playing a role on a playoff team lead by veterans like Timmy, Tony, and Manu. Ingram was the best player on a really bad team. Get real.

You know damn well Ingram is never going to be anywhere near what Kawhi is
You're hoping he won't. Time will tell tho.

Doesn't matter Rob. Unless they get the word from LeBron to trade him (which won't happen because KJ x FP ), he's untouchable.
