What’s crazy is Impact Sports has been leaking everything - anything - just to help other teams get Kawhi for scraps but it’s been days and the Spurs haven’t budged. I wonder how many days until their bag of tricks runs out. The media is enjoying spewing information from “sources” all designed to lower his trade value and ease him in to the Lakers since the latter just got neutered by the Cousins signing. I love the fact the Spurs aren’t caving and aren’t helping that pathetic Lakers front office.
Personally fine with whatever the Spurs get for Leonard, he messed up the situation far too badly it’s unprofessional. Whatever the returns are, I hope it’s at least commensurate for the talent the Spurs gave up for him. The Sixers package is preferable, if only to disappoint those disgusting Laker fans who suddenly think they’re relevant after years of hating on LeBron.
