Good question... I'm not certain the team is the one leaking things. Maybe Mikey Wright felt things needed to be said.

If you listen to that podcast, one could certainly draw the conclusion that he was fed up with only one side of the story coming out. You could tell he had no respect for the uncle, imo.

I'm ok with getting derozan plus it depends what the plus is but the dude can score he is a star playing with Aldridge is a great inside outside game let alone we needed shooters with the young players we have and then add belli and maybe Manu we have some athleticism from the young guys and some very good shot making from the veterans. depending on who the plus is besides the obvious draft pick I like this team lets not discount Rudy gay either. Derozan is not old either not to mention on the plus side it sends that traitorous loser far away to another country. I mean honesty keeping him at this point would be like what's the point? He has obviously showed he cannot and will not be a leader, he cannot recruit, and basically all he wants to do s be simple and play ball play well get his stats promote a brand and collect money. That's not for the Spurs culture he is not Timmy or David. He basically is a dumb way more skilled especially defensively speaking Carmelo Anthony just wants to play and make money everything else be damned.

So awkward on so many levels.
Unless he saves a baby from a burning Taco Bell, he's going to hear some boos.
Not to mention, the weirdness being in the locker room.

Kawhi's camp has been trying to pin this all on the Spurs medical staff and their handling of the issue, and if Kawhi really is as good as gone, they need to protect their own brand.
