OMG!!!!!! I had completely forgotten about that! That was as much of a push out the door as any. I thought Tony should retire anyways but one cannot blame him for taking playing time and $10 mill to play elsewhere. The complete opposite of ringchasing

I'd of rather had Parker's 2 for 10 deal than resign Forbes to a roster spot.
If Forbes' deal is anything close to Parker's deal I'll be disappointed. Put it up there near the Pau contract.

It looks like Pop wants as much 3 point shooting as he can get even if some of these same players are mediocre in other aspects of their game.
he's so redundant with patty (and inferior) that this signing only makes sense if patty is about to be included in a kawhi deal
There is a glut. Something will happen to reduce the number for sure once Kawhi is shipped out.
he's exclusively a 3 point specialist (not a ball handler, not a passer, not a defender) who shot 39% from 3 in a season where he was gifted a role he never earned.

There ya go overvaluing Anderson again. I liked him too, you know that, but he has glaring weaknesses that simply were not worth 9.5M per year. I like Bertans too, but not above the Spurs outstanding offer sheet.
I'd much rather have him on the cheap than Bellinelli but if you already signed the latter, you don't need Forbes. Smh.
