You'd seriously be disappointed with Brown and Tatum? That's like a dream scenario. Spurs would be set up for the next 4 years at least if they got both those guys. Brown looks like he's going to be an all star and Tatum......Tatum has superstar written all over him. I understand that the team trading away the best player is always perceived to have "lost" the trade but no other offers from ANY team could beat this IMO. I would not take Simmons or Embiid over a Tatum and Brown combo. , I wouldn't take Ingram, Kuzma, Hart, Ball and all the Lakers picks over the Celtics young wings. Tatum is already what the fakeshow hopes that Ingram will become.

This is all moot of course. Ainge would never give us both of them. If we could somehow offer them Kawhi on a four year deal, he might be inclined to give us Brown, Rozier, filler and a couple picks.

Actually, in player treatment, SA is NOTHING like the Patriots. NE cuts you the minute they no longer need you. Just on last year's roster, you had TP, Mills, and Gasol all on more or less thank you deals. Manu got 15M a year or so ago. SA always takes care of you on the back end if you take a cut in salary earlier.
