It makes sense. If TOR is trying to clear the decks, Danny is a perfect trade piece. I really, really hope sa got OG for adding Danny though.

I can't see the Raptors accepting Mills. His deal is one year too long. In the worst case (Kawhi walks) they have DeRozan's salary off the books.

Irony= reports Kawhi will do the team USA mini camp one day before being traded to Canada.

Those of you complaining we're getting fleeced, name one deal that's been offered better than this.

LA won't give up young prospects and want to rely on picks. Spurs know with Kawhi and LeBron on the team for the foreseeable future those picks might as well already be numbers 29 or 30.

Philly and Boston both only offered pick heavy trades. But they know full well that those picks (even if Kawhi bolts) will be mid to late 20's (ESPECIALLY because theyplay in the East.

No other team is offering us anything of value and you're complaining about a packet involving an all star, a young prospect and most likely a pick. What do you think is better than that?

Kawhi isn't coming back and if he goes into USA mini camp and looks anything shy of 100% you'll see all the offers dry up and now we're dragging Kawhi into training camp hoping he can get back to full strength while playing disgruntled basketball so we can get back to the trade offers we currently have.

We all have our preferences. I'd personally like to see Kawhi for butler then wait a year till Kyrie comes to join him. But it doesn't look like those offers are coming. At least in this move we aren't losing Kawhi for nothing AND we get the satisfaction of sending him and his team to up north to freeze his corn rows off.
