Why because a now ex-player opened his mouth and said something? A first year medical student could diagnose a groin tear. He’s full of . And if he is playing on it and not complaining about it. Of course it will go un-detected..
I still don’t know what the official diagnosis is for that asshole? Did he have surgery? No. So basically he is still a won’t play through pain.
It probably wasn't torn initially, then he's gone out & played on it cause he didn't want to let us down as Kawhi was hurt & torn it.

Isn’t a groin strain almost always some degree of muscle tear? I’m not sure there’s really a difference. One of the 100 or so resident ST doctors on here will be able to clarify that for us I’m sure.

There was a time in the season that it was apparent he was injured. Maybe they just thought it was tightness or something but he was blatantly injured

Really sad news.
I was diagnosed as having a groin bruise by a ing doctor at the hospital(still got the paperwork). I went to the emergency room t midnight and was there until about 4 am in the morning. They took a goddamn x-ray to examine a groin tear(sounds stupid as don't it?) and determined it was a bruise and gave me all this hard medication. The only problem is that I still couldn't walk without a cane for 3 months following until I was told that it was torn. So as I've said in other threads, don't give me that about what a doctor says because some of them don't care. I still remember the date. January 2nd 2014. You don't forget like that. i thought I had broke my hip when it happened as the pain just shot thru my whole lower body.
a strain is different than a tear. I've had muscle strains in my back. They go away rather quickly. Danny could have had a slight tear and they ignored it. He didn't have a full tear cuz he wouldn't even have been able to walk 5 feet

Most people don't read or listen to podcasts or stories. They take what's convenient. Danny already talked about the situation and talked about how the staff and his agent both asked him to get a second opinion. Danny Green did NOT want to -- it was HIS choice. Side note, he actually was off for 5 games regarding this injury. What this shows me is that Danny is made of tougher stuff than The Mute.
