And to those that question our defense, we upgraded in terms of athleticism, and the most athletic team has higher defensive potential. Dude, take the tin foil hat off. The US has not invaded any place that hasn't in some way attacked the US or one of it's partners or played some part in it (though Iraq is dubious, thanks GOP). However, Russia has invaded and taken territory from a mul ude of sovereign democratic countries, shot down airliners, assassinated people all over the world, built reams of compromising material on our government figures and exploit that material to further their own ends. They are actively seeking to destroy the Western model of democracy as they know that if everyone has a fair shake, their hold on power will quickly diminish and their own people will rise up against them. If they succeed, the US will have some bird dictator for life and no one will be safe or prosper unless they are part of the system of the dictatorship.
The piece about taxing that you have wrong is that when the rich get taxed more to offset assistance for the poor, the net result is the poor come up and eventually have more money to spend in the economy which benefits everyone, including the rich. Once the pay disparity is lowered, everyone will prosper and not just the white man. You're just mad that it means that people of color might have equal standing in the world, which probably makes your white hood a little itchy.
