Not exclusively, on either. I don't even really understand how "enjoying films/TV shows with black leads" is a litmus for anything. It would be kind of weird to say you don't watch, or don't enjoy, those things if there's a black lead.

I grew up around blacks, the first thing I noticed as a little kid was the big difference in speed and agility. And I was fast for a white guy. Just not black fast.
Then here came Howlin' Woll, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, yep, them blues. No white guys sounded like that. Then ya turn on the TV and there is big Jim Brown running over around and away from white guys. I;m not even 13 years old yet.
I own all them old blues from the 20's and 30's. Own tons of books by black authors like Richard Wright, James Baldwin, Ralph Ellison etc. The Paul Robeson Story a must read as is Louis Arnstrongs SATCHMO.
Don't watch movies because of black actors. But do enjoy movies about the black experience.
James Bond is white not black, that is the answer. You cannot change who anyone is because of some movie.
I personally would find Arabic music or TV difficult to enjoy. But I know a growing percentage of Americans consume black culture
After spending 6 weeks in a country with no black advertisement, no black music/tv and barely any on the street (maybe saw 10 or so), I am finding black culture difficult to consume. It is so foreign to me, like Arabic. The way they speak, their clothing, their mannerisms. So exotic.

You do know my favorite people are black, right? I am black, what I'm doing in this white body is a mystery to me and everyone who knows me says that. I have that rhythm, I was a sprinter/RB, my fav music is them old blues. My best friends are black. My library is full of books about the black experience.
