that dude and good riddance.
Jabroni Young probably replacing Bowen on the Clippers games.
The NBA definitely tests for steroids. Joakim Noah got tested positive for LGD-4033, which is SARM. Those are expemsove tests and as far as I know, extensive. Although Growth Hormone / peptides can't be tested for, so I'm sure he took them to heal up quicker. Maybe some GHRP with MK-677. But most GH peptides you have to inject multiple times a day, I wouldnt put it past this snake
Jabroni's pinned tweet, LUL
pop can be father figure-ish to players... and part of the problem is that kawhi's uncle was already somewhat filling that role... and pop is the last person to say it's me or your uncle.
and the people kawhi's uncle aligned himself business-wise with are pro-trump... so naturally, they would be anti-pop and would undermine him staying in sa.
kawhi knows he would be great wherever he went so he didn't mind a fresh start somewhere else.
i don't fault kawhi AT ALL for wanting to play in la... it's where he's from. players are lauded for going home. it's hard for me to know how much to even blame him for this past season because i don't know what his health status really was.
I don't think anyone is mad about him leaving it's how he went about it that people are mad at.
I still don't get how people can't seem to understand this.
If Kawhi wanted to go to L.A., fine. Either wait for your contract to be up, or work privately with the front office so that a deal can be made to please both sides.
Instead Kawhi exaggerated his injury, quit on his team and coach, hid in the shadows while his "group" fed nonsense to the media which all but squashed his trade value, and demanded to go to one of two teams who had little to offer in the first place.
People were going to miss Kawhi either way, but the way he handled his business is what turned him into the villain.
This. Dex for president.
Exactly. Most posters here were even giving Kawhi the benefit of the doubt. I think the player's meeting opened some eyes, and then the fact that although he was "injured" he didn't even have the nerve to show up to games to support his teammates. It was very telling. Then came the reports that he hid from Spurs' staff when they went to check on his status, and that really struck a nerve. If you're really working your ass off to get back, like his sister claimed, then why the would you play hide and seek with the team? And then the reports that he would tell the guys he was coming back and then change his mind on game day was just the cherry on top. I don't know how anyone can defend his actions. The guy had it made here, because if he did this while on almost any other team he would have been crucified (and rightly so) in the media. Can't imagine the outrage had LeBron or KD had pulled this stunt.
Glad he's gone. Still think we got fleeced in that trade, though.
Wonder if his sister's actions on IG can be used to subpoena her phone? Spurs could probably sue.
1.His people and himself handled the situation in the most unprofessional way possible. If he wanted to leave he should have asked for a trade last summer and also he should have been open to other locations besides LA. I have known in the past when star players have wanted to be traded they have had a list of several teams and not just 2 based on a ing location. To me that was some horse and ended up handicapping the Spurs in getting great value for him.
2. The injury bs also made me hate him from the beginning since I have family members and friends who are doctors that have stated that this type of injury is very minor and doesn't take long to recover from. I said in many posts dating back to around December that this injury was bs and his team was milking it to get him out of SA. The way he milked his bogus injury was the same way someone fakes whiplash to get money in a car accident. People like that disgust me.
3. You mention how the media would crucify KD or Lebron had they pulled this stunt. I agree with that statement and it's every evident when you see how they are trashing Leveon Bell who is pulling some similar to what Kawhi did to the Spurs. You have these talking heads ala Jalen Rose,Cris Carter who were pro Kawhi but are now anti-Leveon. It goes to show you the hypocrisy of the media that they were willing to bash and throw the Spurs under the bus simply because they wanted the Lakers to be relevant again or some big market team to acquire Kawhi.
In a nuts I hate Kawhi because: he faked injury, sabotaged the Spurs when it came to getting good trade value by not asking for a trade last summer and also restricting the Spurs trade options only to the 2 LA teams, having his team using the media to trash the Spurs reputation along with spurs legends Parker and Manu.
Sorry, your fams are wrong. Don't wanna talk about Kawhi. Just talk about quads injuries, the aren't minor injuries for pro players.
Tendinitis, tendinosis (tendinopathy), compartment syndrome, jumper's knee, ossifications/calcifications...All these issues are career-altering injuries because become chronic and just a few of them can be fixed by surgery.
When the inflammation of the tendon doesn't respond quickly to medications and anti-inflammatory treatments, every doctor already knows that the player will have problems his whole career.
At least I'm not the guy saying that quad injuries are minor issues in professional players careers.
At least I'm not the guy who believes fake injuries are real injuries. Anyways debating with you is a waste of time. You have zero credibility with me since you are a hardcore Kawhi fanboy.
Kawhi had quad's issues since 2012..I guess you will say he faked it too.
When Kawhi doesn't look himself and misses games due to his quad injury in this and next seasons, your credibility will suffer.Anyways debating with you is a waste of time. You have zero credibility with me since you are a hardcore Kawhi fanboy.
Who knows but when fake injuries affect players' games and health...I would say they are real injuries. We'll see.
Yeah, well there's this super secret reason he quit you see, and I'm his sister and I know.
Lol. Thank the Lord Jesus and Baby Jesus this fool is the up outta here. He proves himself the an hesis of a true Spur by the day. His talents will be missed. He will not. We dodged a bullet on this.
YGWHI...oh you were talking about Jabari? My mistake.
I actually see Kawhi only missing a few games next year. It's a big year for him since it's a contract year. You will see he played you like a fool when he has a MVP type of season. Anyways like I said before you have no credibility with me.
The tendenitis in 2012 was in his left leg according to SB Nation 11/16/2012. Written by Brendan Porath. Not his right quad which is the one in question. Seems the left one has been fine since the 10-14 day rest he received in 2012.
Honestly who gaf where nephew and uncle daddy go to? Its a business and there's no loyalty from either side. The selfless superstar days are gone. With Pop's time coming to an end, the roster being , and the need for a super team to complete for a chip, its no surprise nephew wanted to leave. Who cares which rapist uncle daddy lets nephew work out with tbh?
