The bellyaching about due process and standards of proof is entirely misplaced. If facts had to be proven to a legal certainty before you could hire, fire or promote someone it would be exceedingly difficult to do any of those things.
Kavanaugh was exactly who we knew he always was in the hearing yesterday. But the real disappointment IMO was Sasse. Oh Ford you're such a victim of this entire thing, I'm sympathetic towards you, but I'm still going to pwn the Democrats anyways. What a chicken Sasse looked like in that hearing yesterday.

Speaking to reporters at the Capitol, Flake said that t
he demands of being a human being had “taken their toll,” and that it was “time to move on.”

Flake said that, before making his decision,
