He is a known commitment, based on how I read it.
Is he a silent commitment or a public commitment?

awesome.
Strong imo, but that depends on your definition.
UT has potential for another Top 5 finish, but more importantly, it appears they're going to successfully fill their big needs.

There's no official word on his status for next season, but RB Kirk Johnson posted on Instagram that he will be participating in Senior Night activities on Saturday.
still need D-line star
I'll be pretty happy if they land Jones and Warren.
Even happier if they land Johnson at LB.
2020 DT Braedon Nutter (Tomball Memorial)

More like D-Line stars (plural).
The "surprise" visitor was actually LB De'Gabriel Floyd.
Alabama offered RB DJ Williams of Sebring, FL.
Honestly, this tells me that either Williams is damn good or Bama isn't as confident in getting Sanders as some of the recruiting dorks are.
24/7 saying Coach Hand is looking at Nutter as a guard or center prospect.
Per 24/7, OL Javonne Shepherd is now a maybe for this weekend.
He doesn't plan on riding with his trainer, Footwork King.
Also from 24/7, Texas has been in touch with 2021 LB Kendrick Blackshire of Mesquite Horn and he may be in town this weekend.

I'm guessing he is no longer with his UT girlfriend? I know if I had a girl in Austin, I'd be there every weekend, especially if I knew going there meant I was going to be getting some.
Inside Texas saying five-star CB Kelee Ringo of Scottsdale, AZ is no longer visiting this weekend.

Per Inside Texas, DE Myron Warren of Many, LA is now "doubtful" to be in Austin this weekend.
Texas wants to bring him in as an unofficial visitor right now, so that may have messed up his plans.
