People are ragging on Pop's coaching but we simply lack the players needed. It's more the bad offseason moves and injuries than the coaching, tbh.
Hopefully if they get a top 10 pick, Pop is gone by next season. I don't trust him with any guys in the lottery since the game has passed him by hard in the last 4 years.
Getting a top 10 guy to star status isn't the same as getting a scrub like Forbes to become a serviceable role player on a lottery team....

This is the reality. The team is trying but this is their ceiling due to their physical and offensive limitations.
Honestly better effort tonight (minus Lamarcus with one of the softest offensive performances of all time) but when as a front office, you decide to make guys like Patty, Bryn, and Beli cornerstones of your roster....
And as a coach, you play those guys heavy, heavy minutes (Rudy got hurt, but you really can't trust Pop to not have played those guys regardless)...it makes your ceiling extremely limited.
Your only defense is praying to god that professional nba players miss shots that they mostly make in practice. That's your recipe for success in the 2018 NBA, that's what you think wins now in today's league
The only question is, what can we do about it?
