Good thing Dennis got him out of SA so he could ink that deal.
Him walking in socks bc of the SHAME...![]()

Yes, technically nothing would be worse than Kawhi inking that deal as a Spur. It would put the nail in the coffin for the "Spurs are boring" mantra.
YGHI or whatever his name is already in line ready to buy them shoes.
LOL Kawhitter walking around in socks because his handlers mismanaged an already ty shoe deal. How classic.
Only thing he needs now is to slip in the shower and bust his quad again like those MLB players do![]()
I would guess Nike does. Nike owns the "RF" logo/insignia--so if they have ownership over something like that, I would think that they would also have ownership over every IP/Logo/brand that comes out under their brand.
Just call him Jabari...
When I was in middle school/high school everybody into sports knew the shoe game. I remember the shoe wars growing up between reebok and Nike. I remember And 1 busting out of nowhere and everyone had their mixtapes and were copying their moves and buying their stuff. I remember Adidas putting out Telfairs shoe and how everyone was in line for those, or Tmacs or Lil Penny or AI. Jordans were always hot of course and so are Kobe's. To this day I still own some Kyries and Lebrons and some Js. But New Balance? What am I, an old white retired man jogging 2 mph on the sidewalk? The pay is good I'm sure and for that amount of money I would wear New Balance I guess. But man I wouldn't rep them unless I was getting paid. New Balance is just a no for any baller.
are they velcro?
That’s tragic for Lil buddy. I would’ve got ownership and rights to that .
...where you at asswiper? Get in here and spin this .
Prime Duncan rested under Pop also... My point is u are acting as if Kawhi chose not to play when he was here... No one made it an issue when pop rested him... Matter of fact ppl were mad at Pop... Not Kawhi... So why are u mad at Kawhi now? It's the coaches making the decision not to play him same as Pop did when he was here
Doesn't matter. He'll demand a trade to Nike by mid season as he refuses to wear the New Balance shoes.
Prime Duncan never had rest games dumbass. Stop gargling Kawhi's nutsack so much
So clearly he was injured... And not faking it like most of the board is saying...
What year did Duncan's prime end?
what is happening now is on him. He is the one deciding it. Nobody else. He isn't hurt and he doesn't play. Even you admit that. I'm not mad at Kawhi either though, I just don't think he's worth $43 million a year. I gave you my 2 players I thought were worth it in today's NBA and told you why. They are the only two players who have prven they can lead a team to a le. NOBODY else in the NBA has proven that.
Sidenote: Did you just say that Pop rested Tim early on? How many times can a person be wrong? Tim averaged 39 minutes a game his first 6 seasons with the Spurs. He played in nearly every game then too. He got hurt for 2 years when he played only 66 and 68 games in 03-04, but then he played in 80 games in 2005 and 2006. Tim Played ELEVEN years before getting to the few minutes that Kawhi played. Tim literally only has 4 seasons where he played as few games in a season as Kawhi's career high.
Twitter is having a field day with this
new balance has some really nice shoes tbh. some of their j crew exclusives are good.
Wrong. Prime Duncan was NOT rested. Pop didn't start really resting him until he was 35. , in his age 32 season, he played 75 games, 34 mpg, and at age 33, played 76 games, 31 mpg.
From 2001 to 2003, Duncan played 82 games every season, averaging around 40 minutes per game. TD was well into his 30s when Pop first started the resting gimmick.
http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/2...mpression=trueWhile terms have not been disclosed, industry expectations are that New Balance is likely to have offered significantly more than $5 million per year. That range would be on par with the Jordan Brand extension that Leonard turned down earlier this spring, a four-year deal worth up to $22 million.
