Not getting two legit starters outta that deal hurts
You can have your opinion but you seem to love trolling about two great players who aren't coming back. Also, you have look a statistics, accolades and impact which those two (Parker & Gervin) have him beat a nearly all three.
If Walker, Murray or any other future Spurs' guard can have 1/3 the success of those two, I'd be happy.
I feel like I should stop derailing the thread, but this is some utterly embarrassing , right now.
Pop may retire in-season if this type of effort and performance continues. Just pathetic....
Not getting two legit starters outta that deal hurts
Oh aldridge got his 20 tonight and spurs still losing
What did he say?
This is the part on Behind the Music where the stoned-out band loses their record deal....
Conley was legit hurt though.
I know the Spurs are tender feces right now and getting destroyed by every team they play, but they STILL won't even be in the bottom 10 of the league after getting smashed by Houston.
They're just too on the side of mediocre rather than awful without a Conley-esque season ending injury to either LMA or DeRozan.
I'm literally laughing at your suit
There's a million small forwards to go out an get...in the g league, sitting on the couch etc. But this front office likes to stand Patty.
Just turned the game on and the first thing I see it Mills guarding Harden.![]()
I know the Dubs were crippled when we played them but how the did they lose to this Spurs team?
74 in the modern NBA, is like 60 before the rule change. Ugh.
I love to have a laugh here and there, including in bad situations... nostalgia is there in the old DVDs, but it won't be bringing new rings... Tony didn't retire and said he wanted to be back, so we'll see.
It's not like sane fans didn't know the Spurs were going to take a massive hit once TD and Manu retired, tbh... especially with betas like LMA... c'est la vie. Now we're like 50% of NBA teams every year, mediocre, or outright tanking.
, the Spurs gave away two starters in that deal.
How does that even work for RC and Pop?
Not enough to lose the best player in the deal by a giant margin, but the Spurs have to get the worst young player in return for another starter?
And what's really ty is that Milutinov was available, his buyout was cheap. They didn't need Poeltl. They sure didn't need Marco with the MLE.
Injury-prone CP3 playing in the fourth with the Rockets up 40
Never change, D'Antoni.
spurs in addition to having the worst support roster in the league (they may be the least talented team overall without Murray and Walker), they are completely defeated mentally, I do not see them winning any guaranteed game until real changes are made, and if it were not for Demar in the games against the Lakers, we would be worse, the pick 1 is a reality for this team
Any team except the Spurs.
You weren't far off.... unfortunately.
damn, they could have signed Dangubic to a minimum deal without even having to pay a buyout, he was free and clear. Dangubic is a little underweight but he was there.
Not a good way to spend my Friday night
Have there ever been back to back 30 point losses in the Pop era?
Is Sanikidze still playing, tbh?
Not the one&done tank to draft a HoFer tbh
Spurs should sign Melo just for the comedy value
