I mean, I'm aware the CIA has abducted people in the middle of any city worldwide and took them to some secret prison to torture them, so as a country I don't think we can claim any moral high ground, but personally, all of that stuff, including murdering a journalist on an embassy (which ironically is a place for diplomacy), is ing abhorrent, no matter who does it.
