No, you don't send out draft picks when you plan to tank/rebuild. You either send out vets that have some value or you take back a bad contract to make the deal.

If it was Marco and the Toronto pick I'd want the Spurs to do it just to get rid of Marco, I don't even care if Nkilitina turns out to be a bum. At least Pop wouldn't gift him minutes like Marco.

Only way I’d do the Raptors pick is if it was Kanter+Frank for Mills+Beli+Raps pick. But that isn’t happening as NY isn’t going to take on too much salary for next year
