    Watching that montage just reminded me how ed up Kawhis shot was when he first came to San Antonio. Spurs kinda built Kawhi. People forget because he is so cohesive now, but he owes a lot of his development to San Antonio imho. He hit the gym a lot in the off season so there is definitely a lot of personal determination from him as well.

    But I remember the most wonky shot release. Garbage from 3 unless it was corners and garbage free throw avgs early on.

    Spurs rebuilt his shot and probably provided the necessary resources and atmosphere for his own self driven work ethic to explode.

    Agreed. Came off as classy while taking subtle shots. Of course, I would've liked if we had shown Kawhi missing a free throw in Game 6 or him getting Pachulia'd but still good work!
