And in large part bc Westbrook was awful in the last 5 minutes of the game. Poor decision-making, chucking bricks left and right

Summary of his career
RIP, he lost his athleticism
He isn't even exciting to watch anymore, the league has lost its most entertaining player, there will never be another like him..
You of all people should be impressed. In typical Russell Westbrook fashion..... 14 points (3-20 FG), 16 rebounds, 10 assists. Another triple double!!!!
another win by the leader of one of the league's best teams![]()
one of the most inneficient low IQ players in the NBA, yet people think he's a MVP caliber type of player because triple doubles![]()
This. Parker's durability has been amazing.
Among PGs only Kidd, Stockton and Payton have more minutes played than Parker since season 83/84.. He has for instance 3,000 more minutes already than Nash or Miller 6,000 more than Fisher and those dudes seemed to be playing forever.
Among all players, all positions he is 24 in the list, probably near top 20 when he will retire.. he is #19 in number of games played and 12in number of games started just below Kobe

Stats padder. 3-20 FGA as long as he makes triple doubles and people think he’s MVP caliber
This tbh. The fact this got got an MVP for stat padding on a team that got butt ed in the first round is an embarrassment
Was never a fan of his game. People talk about his effort, but I see a guy who regularly stays back glaring at the ref when he doesn't get a call, making his team play 4 on 5. The funny thing is Westbrook is averaging an inefficient triple double again but no one would think about giving him an MVP vote this time around. After 11 seasons, he's still one of the worst late game decision makers in the league, almost always jacking up a defended three despite being a bad three point shooter his entire career. Including this year, the guy has shot under 30% from three in six different seasons! All of his coaches and teammates have tip-toed around the issue forever, and he's never made an adjustment. When KD was a free agent, I thought "you're crazy if you tie yourself to Westbrook for your prime." Westbrook gets the nod from some fans for being more "badass" and having more at ude, but his refusal to be coached will most likely result in no championships.

Sup apo
What are you talking about? I've always disliked Westbrook. Apo was a huge fan, as you can see from earlier posts in this thread.
Westcancer is just awful, so selfish. Kept the Lakers in it. PG barely saw the ball in the last few minutes.
Thanks for sharing Bynumite but everyone already knows how awful heis.
His numbers are so terrible this year-- FG%, 3ptFG%, FT% are all below his career averages, and his career averages are historically bad for a "superstar."
PG is carrying that team.
This was inevitable. He’s three years on the wrong side of his athletic peak, and has a knee that’s had multiple surgeries. He also has no fundamentals to fallback on, having always leaned heavily into his athleticism.
Hes looking like a Leprechaun these days

Interesting. He sure seemed to bend over our defense in those couple of games last week...
Single instance, versus over half a season of stats. His TS% is 47.6. That's nauseatingly bad for someone who gets to the line as much as he does.
how can he be such a badass but so bad lol he's kicked Spur ass his whole career
Most overrated player in NBA history.
