Fitting end to the game for this team. Even my daughter's JV basketball team can pass the ball in from out of bounds. Just bad all around.

Have no idea why that foul on Simmons wasn't called right after the block. Patty grabbed Ben in the back court with seven seconds left. Would have given the team a much better chance to win. Then again, seven seconds is enough time for a DeRozan iso, so maybe this was for the best.
There's still a shred of hope this team doesn't make the playoffs.
If you ever get your hopes up in the future by a win just remember this game.

Refs have been ing us over all year long. It's ridiculous. At some point someone in the team has to say something publicly. I prefer it to be Pop and pick up that Phil Jackson fine but man we are getting terrible calls in like every close game we've been in. Home or road doesn't matter.

welp, thats to bad. We are a borderline playoff team and need to win games like this if we plan on making it.

The Spurs "system" is so flawed. It's basically tailored to give up leads. There is literally no rhythm or flow down the stretch because they try too hard to play within their same system in the last 2-3 minutes of the game as they do the first 45-46 minutes. I can't quite explain it but they try to play too methodical, and when they do that they play very slow and almost try to play too careful, and it makes them very predictable. Add the fact that teams typically toughen up on defense in the last few minutes of games, and it is just a recipe for disasters. I think this is the reason for bad shots and obviously turnovers.
Does anyone else realize what I mean?

I have to say this because I’ve been saying this all season. Rudy Gay can score but he has a HORRIBLE basketball IQ and makes the worse decisions. It wasn’t all on him of course but a lot of his decisions caused the Sixers to stay in the game..
