He sees White taking his spot as the starter.... Gotta be eating at his ass.
My hope is it gives the Spurs more leverage during contract negotiations during the offseason. I’d still love to lock up DJ with a new contract.

From what I have seen with ACL surgery, it takes about 8-12 months to get released to play depending on the sport. I would say 12 full months to be game ready. Pro sports though has the best doctors and probably uses the latest surgical tech plus athletes are doing physical therapy about every day, instead of 2-3 times a week which normal insurance covers. So it could be a faster recovery. At three months post op the person can start jogging, hopping, and light agility exercises. For basketball it is the quick movement cutting, sprinting/stopping fast, and awkward landings on jumps that take the longest to recover as well as the physical contact.
Pro sports actually doesn't have the best doctors

Lil nicca better have a Jumpernext season. His shot should be wet when he comes back with all the time he has... I pray he's not rushing back to do the same ole . He could comeback to be Rondo 2.0 with a reliable shot, he'll be great

He better be shooting 1000 shots a day. White and Forbes progress could actually motivate him more tbh. He’d be a longer Glove who can really disrupt the opponents offensive flow. And if Walker does the same, we have the best 3 guards combo. We ring up baby!

Most recent ACL tears seem to take around 9 months to recover from. Hopefully Murray will be able to have a full off-season to train and be ready to go by training camp.

Don’t now why you all hating on this guy it’s not like he is playing and it’s not like he is faking injury (KY). People need to understand that Murray and Walker were both not ready for NBA but we’re drafted on potential. So it’s going to take two or three years before we can say they good or they a bust.

If there's ever a "good" time to tear an ACL, it's when Murray did. He should be either 100% or very close to it by training camp in September.

Nothing says old white guy like overreacting to social media posts from athletes. Especially ones with pics or videos.

    (Bump)

Checked DJ's IG handle where he mentioned that he's started jogging. My pipe dream would be his return in the Finals against Kawhi and the Raptors.

Good to see him shooting already. 9 more months of shooting drills til the start of next season should make him improve further
