Hopfully for Lowry, if he were traded to the Grizz, he won't slip into a deeeep depression himself (maybe DePression will do it for him). My opinion is that Conley is the better PG than Lowry. But the bottom line is: some of these trade potentials may just end up in the back burner come trade deadline when some of these trade proposals between teams, never fulfill the transaction due to disputes over equal trade value exchanges, picks & salary matching. Let the trade rumor mill run!

If you want to make it interesting you could do Gasol and raptors 1st for Lin and Prince. Jeremy Lin will be a free agent in the summer so he doesn't hold much value but makes the trade work.
This opens up some cap space for the Spurs and the Hawks get a 1st round pick without giving up much in return depending on how they value Prince. May not be enough incentive for Hawks, idk.

Sometimes the tiny trade like this is the precursor to a larger deal. Toronto could be clearing a roster spot for a trade. They could also be clearing some cap to stay below the tax in a forthcoming trade.

And he has a point,obviously,Dragic was an allstar there last year and Dlo Russel is an allstar this year.
Miami saves about $5M next year, assuming that TJ opts in, which he probably will. Ryan Anderson goes from about $20M this year down to $15M next. They also save about $6M this year by offloading WE's contract. PHO must have a trade exception to absorb the latter.
Current and future cap room is a commodity.
